The makers of VD12, which was officially launched last week, have unveiled a special surprise for fans on the occasion of Vijay Deverakonda’s birthday. This comes even before the film has gone on floors.
VD12 is an upcoming period drama film directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri and starring Vijay Deverakonda and Sreeleela in lead roles. The movie is produced jointly by S Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya under the banners of Sithara Entertainment and Fortune Four Cinemas.
On Tuesday, to mark Vijay Deverakonda’s birthday, the creators of the upcoming film VD12, which was recently announced, released a special surprise for fans in the form of a vintage-style sepia-toned poster, even before the production had begun.
The birthday poster of Vijay Deverakonda features various pieces of paper that, when assembled together, reveal a partial glimpse of the actor’s look. The poster introduces his look through an intense black-and-white portrait that captures his striking expressions.
The poster also includes a quote from an anonymous spy, “I don’t know where I belong, to tell you whom I betrayed,” adding to the intrigue surrounding the film. Director Gowtam Tinnanuri shared the poster on Vijay Deverakonda’s birthday, wishing him success and love, and expressing hope that their upcoming film “Kushi” would be a blockbuster.
Vijay Deverakonda’s intensity and Gowtam’s storytelling abilities, who directed ‘Jersey’ and ‘Malli Raava’, promise an exciting cinematic experience. Fans are also excited to witness the on-screen chemistry between Vijay Deverakonda and Sreeleela.
Anirudh Ravichander, one of the top composers in the country, is set to score the music for the period drama presented by Srikara Studios.

The film’s cinematography is in the hands of Girish Gangadharan, while Navin Nooli (a National Award winner for ‘Jersey’) will edit the film. The art direction will be handled by Avinash Kolla. The shooting for VD12 will begin in June, and more information about the cast and other details will be announced soon.
