Vijay’s much-awaited political action drama Jana Nayagan is all set for its digital premiere, with the makers officially announcing the OTT release details. Directed by H. Vinoth, the film holds special significance as Vijay’s final feature film following his entry into politics.
Jana Nayagan will begin streaming on ZEE5 from August 21, 2026, and will be available in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada. The four-language release is expected to take the film to a wider audience across the South Indian markets.
Vijay plays Vetri Kondan, a former police officer who takes on powerful forces while standing up against corruption and injustice. The film combines political themes with action and drama, with Vijay carrying the story in the lead role.
The ensemble cast includes Pooja Hegde, Bobby Deol, Mamitha Baiju, Prakash Raj, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Priyamani, Nassar, and Narain, among others.
