“Happy Birthday Virat” was trending before the clock Struck 12!
Indian cricket captain Virat Kohli celebrated his 29th birthday on November 5, wishes poured in from all corners of the world including our Indian team.
Fans greeted their star player and favorite cricketer and wished him all the good for the upcoming year. ‘Happy birthday Virat’ started trending even before the clock struck 12 am, yesterday.
BCCI shared images of Kohli’s birthday celebrations with his teammates at a hotel in Rajkot.
In the images, we can see the skipper cutting the cake and his face all covered with the cream, which is a commonly found site in birthday parties.
The players participated in the birthday party forgetting the defeat against New Zealand in the second T20I in Rajkot. Though Kohli made a good knock of 65 runs, still India fell short and succumbed to defeat. However, Kohli became first Indian player and eighth overall to complete his 7000 T20 runs in 212 innings, only the second fastest one after Chris Gayle (192).
