Visakha Saradapeetham Commences Dasara Celebrations on October 15:
The Sharannavaratri mahotsavam of Sri Sharada Swaroopa Rajashyamala Ammavaru is set to commence on October 15.
During the festival, devotees will have the opportunity to witness the daily incarnation of Goddess Rajashyamala as follows:
First day: Bala Tripura Sundari
Second day: Maheshwari
Third day: Vaishnavi
Fourth day: Annapurna
Fifth day: Lalita Tripura Sundari
Sixth day: Saraswati Devi
Seventh day: Mahalakshmi
Eighth day: Mahakali
Ninth day: Mahishasura Mardhini
Vijayadashami: Vijaya Durga
On Vijayadashami, Ayudha Puja will be conducted near the Shami tree. Each morning during the Sharannavaratri festival and Dasara Festival, a special abhishekam will be performed to honor Sri Sarada Swarupa Rajashyamala Ammavaru. In the evenings, Peetharchan ceremonies will be held for Shri Sharada Swarupa Rajashyamala and Chandramouliswarulu, followed by cultural worship. Daily kumkumarchana will be carried out by women.
On October 20, a mass Aksharabhyasam event will take place. Visakha Sri Sharada Peetham has made extensive arrangements for these festivities.
The Dasara celebration will culminate with Vijayadashami on October 24. Saraswati, the Seer of Sharada Peetham, mentioned, “Participants in these pujas will receive the Rajshyamala Yantram, which has been consecrated in the footsteps of Rajshyamala. On Moola Nakshatra on October 20, Saraswati Puja and mass Aksharabhyasam will be conducted, and books and pens will be provided to boys and girls.”
