Suriya’s Vishwanath & Sons has successfully completed its theatrical journey and is now making its digital debut. The film, backed by Sithara Entertainments and directed by Venky Atluri, turned into a major commercial success, reportedly collecting around Rs. 260 crore worldwide.
After enjoying a strong four-week run in theatres, the film has arrived on Netflix, allowing audiences to watch it from the comfort of their homes. The OTT release comes with a multilingual option, as the movie is streaming in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam.
The film features Suriya in the lead, with Mamitha Baiju playing the female lead. The emotional storyline, coupled with the performances of the lead actors, helped the movie establish a strong connection with audiences during its theatrical release.
With the film now available across multiple languages on Netflix, it is expected to reach an even wider audience. The big question is whether the emotional impact and audience response seen in theatres will be replicated on the digital platform.
The supporting cast includes Radhika Sarathkumar, Sunil Reddy, Bhavani Sre, Nassar, Raveena Tandon, and several others. GV Prakash Kumar has composed the music for the film.
Following its impressive box-office performance, all eyes are now on Vishwanath & Sons’ OTT journey and the response it receives from streaming audiences.
