Vizag’s: Upcoming International Cricket Stadium:
BCCI Secretary Jay Shah has provided assurance to the President and Secretary of the Andhra Cricket Association, P. Sharat Chandra Reddy and S.R. Gopinath Reddy, that Visakhapatnam City will soon witness the development of a new international cricket stadium. This commitment was made during a meeting between the officials of ACA and Jay Shah at the BCCI’s 92nd-anniversary event held in Goa on Monday.
Raj Gopal, representing ACA, conveyed that Jay Shah pledged full support for the construction of the international stadium in Visakhapatnam. During the meeting, both Gopinath Reddy and Sharat Chandra Reddy elaborated on the initiatives and activities of the Andhra Cricket Association to BCCI President Roger Binny and Secretary Jay Shah.
It has been reported that Jay Shah intends to personally visit Visakhapatnam in the near future to further discuss and advance this project.
