Following the success of Thandel, Naga Chaitanya is gearing up for his next ambitious project, Vrushakarma. Directed by Karthik Varma Dandu, the upcoming mystical thriller has generated considerable buzz, with its promotional content raising expectations among movie lovers.
The makers recently confirmed that Dil Raju’s SVC Releases had acquired the film’s distribution rights. According to the latest industry buzz, the deal is reportedly worth Rs. 45 crore, including a non-refundable component of Rs. 40 crore. If these figures are accurate, it would mark the biggest distribution deal of Naga Chaitanya’s career so far.
Apart from the theatrical business, the film’s digital streaming rights have also reportedly fetched a substantial amount, adding to the project’s commercial prospects. With the release date approaching, the team is expected to intensify its promotional campaign in the coming weeks.
Produced by BVSN Prasad under the SVCC banner, Vrushakarma is associated with Sukumar Writings, with Bapineedu presenting the film. Ajaneesh Loknath is composing the music.
Meenakshi Chaudhary plays the female lead, while Sparsh Shrivastava will reportedly appear as the antagonist. The team is currently completing the shoot alongside ongoing post-production work.
Vrushakarma is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on December 4, 2026. With strong pre-release interest and reports of a major distribution deal, the film is shaping up to be an important project in Naga Chaitanya’s career.
