Yesteryear’s most favorite Telugu writer and novelist Yaddanapudi Sulochana Rani has expired the other day’s night and left her fans in vain. This senior writer who is famous for her best selling Telugu novels died of heart attack yesterday night in the US.Many of present generation’s netizens are not well aware of this top writer as she has been living a low profile life without writings. However, some enthusiastic movie lovers heard this name when the director Trivikram made the makers to have a thank you card in the titles of A Aa for having her story titled Meena.
Sulochana Rani is well known for her top novels and many of her writings are made as movies right from Eastman color to Digital Cinema. Some went further and used the names of her novels as serial and movie titles with and without her permission. Such writer has bid adios to her pen and been leading a calm life along with her daughter in California, USA for the last ten years. According to her family, she was aged 79 when she breathed her last and died of cardiac arrest in the middle of her regular midnight sleep.
