YSRCP MP Y. V. Subba Reddy Comments on CM Chandrababu Naidu Over AP SCS

YSRCP MP YV Subba Reddy stated that Chandrababu Naidu is playing dramas in the name of AP Special Category Status. Talking to media in New Delhi, the YSRCP MP disparaged Chandrababu’s take on AP SCS. He said, ‘Chandrababu Naidu and BJP are slaying democracy in the State (of Andhra Pradesh) and at the Centre.
We (YSRCP) is handicapped with just 5 MPs. But we still went ahead to move the no-confidence motion in the Lok Sabha. We wanted to make sure that the entire nation hears the pain and agony of 5 crore Telugu people’.
Talking about the No-confidence motion, ‘we will move the no-confidence motion, as long as the Parliament sessions continue. On the last day, our MPs will resign. Special Category Status is the lifeline of Andhra Pradesh. Until we accomplish the Special Category Status, we will not go back.
It is unfair on the part the speaker (Sumitra Mahajan) not to move the no-confidence motion, citing that the house is not in order. If the house is not in order, then how did they pass the Finance bill?’ questioned YV Subba Reddy.
