Adhirindhi to create controversy in Telugu too!
Mersal Telugu version ‘Adhirindhi’ has finally secured clearance from Central Board of Film Certification. It is known that Tamil film, Mersal has collected over 200 crores. It became the biggest hit in Vijay’s film career. Now the recent film is releasing in Telugu as ‘Adhirindhi’. The Telugu version was all set to be released last week. But it was canceled as the Censor board did not give its clearance.
Now with the clearance certificate granted by the CBFC, the film is all set to release. It was reported that Sharat Marar has compromised to remove the controversial GST dialogues in the Telugu version of the film. But the latest reports suggest that, after revising that there would no legal litigations arising out of the film, the Censor Board has certified the film without the removing the GST dialogues.
With the GST dialogues in the Telugu version, trade analysts predict that it would surely cause an uproar in the Telugu states, and the added controversy will surely help the film to have a successful run and will leave Sharat Marar with hefty profits.
BJP has warned to stall the film from being presented in theatres in Tamil Nadu after the ‘GST Dialogue’ episode in Mersal. One has to wait and see to what extent with the Telugu BJP leaders take this controversy.
