Promotions are part and parcel of all movies. Especially the producers of big-ticket films are dishing out huge amounts of marketing. While the makers of Pawan Kalyan’s upcoming movie Agnathavasi have not considered promotions as keenly as it is normally done.
Whatever hype has been created so far is due to the vigorous promotional strategies organized by the overseas distributor. Since the day the overseas deal was confirmed, LA Telugu has been going on promoting the film quite aggressively which has been the major reason behind the tremendous hype that has been produced among the audience.
It is a normal thing when we sell the film for an astounding price, promoting the film aggressively is the minimum expected thing from the filmmakers. But the producers took undue advantage of the overseas distributor.
While, Producers may argue or have a different perspective that Pawan’s movie needs no marketing, and they could have taken a cue from Arka Media which explored each and every avenue to Promote Baahubali 2. After the global success of Baahubali 1, it was obvious for everyone to watch the second film. But the producers devoted unmatched resources to social media marketing to take the film to the next level.
