There is no doubt in stating that NT Rama Rao and Akkineni Nageswara Rao are like two eyes of the Telugu Film Industry. Both the legends have entertained the Telugu audience for decades. In fact, their legacy still continues and thrives even in today’s world. In an attempt to further preserve the legacy of NT Rama Rao, his son, actor and politician Nandamuri Balakrishna has already started a biopic film on his life. The movie is titled ‘NTR’.

Parallelly, the duo’s contemporary actress, and regarded as one of the most beautiful women to ever grace the screen, Mahanati Savithri’s biopic is also underway. Amidst these biopics, it is heard that the Akkineni clan is making the ground ready for Akkineni Nageswara Rao’s biopic.

In fact, the research work for the film has already begun a few months back. The movie will throw light, beginning from his Akkineni Nageswara Rao’s journey in films, to his last days. Few Film Nagar sources claimed that Akkineni Naga Chaitanya will be reprising the role of young ANR in the movie, while Akkineni Nagarjuna will be seen in the movie. One has to wait and see how far are these claims true.
