The blockbuster director Koratala Siva is now considered as the numero-two director in Tollywood after the visionary Rajamouli. With 4 back to back blockbusters, this most wanted director is now on his way to quash some rumors regarding the male lead’s character. Let us see what Koratala has to say about his CM role.
Even before the release of Bharat Ane Nenu, some unknown sources speculated that the CM role of Mahesh is actually written for Pawan Kalyan. Also, the same source claimed that Koratala even approached Pawan Kalyan but the latter rejected citing his disinterest in becoming a CM in reel and real life. When the director was asked about this issue, Koratala declared that this rumor is nothing but a fake speculation. This sensible director took his time to explain his own reasons quash this rumor. Siva stated that he wanted to tell a story in which there will be an ideal CM who is applicable to all parts of India. So he wanted to select a hero who has least interest in Politics and hates them if possible.
Also, Koratala opines that a hero with some attachment to Politics will dilute the character’s intensity. According to Koratala, Mahesh Babu is the best one who hates Politics and is well suited for a young yet dynamic Chief Minister’s character. So he with huge interest and excitement has handpicked Mahesh Babu exclusively for this movie. In Fact, Koratala claimed that he has written this story keeping Mahesh in mind but not Pawan Kalyan. However, he showed his interest to work with the power star if possible in the future.
Well, this director has his own reasons and his explanation makes sense. But this might hurt some section of Pawan fans who want to see their demi-God as the CM of Andhra Pradesh. Mahesh has completely lived in the character and he deserves the credit for this movie’s gigantic success.
