Ali has tried his level best to contest in the last general elections from either Rajahmundry or Guntur(East) but dropped in the last minute for the reasons best known to him. As per the latest speculations, it is heard that Ali is going to contest from any of the two regions on Janasena ticket.
Ali shares a very close relationship with Pawan Kalyan and he is considered as one of the most trustworthy persons to Janasenani. If the speculations are to be believed, Pawan has already given his consent to Ali regarding his ticket. An official confirmation is yet awaited regarding this.
