Its been four years since the united AP got bifurcated into residual AP and Telangana and now, the AP Government got time to finalize the State Bird and Flower. We have studied in our school days that the National Bird of United AP is the Indian Roller which is often called as the Palapitta which can be seen in major places of Telangana. It was chosen because maximum people in Telangana believe that watching this bird on the eve of Dussehra gives them pure luck. And the State’s bird is the blackbuck which is called as the famous Krishna Jinka, more found in the forests of Nallamala, AP.

Also, the State’s tree is the Neem Tree. Post the bifurcation, the Telangana Government in less than a year’s time announced their State’s Bird and Animal. It continued the Indian Roller as it is the famous bird there and the State’s animal is the Deer.No one knows what made the AP Government took four years to declare its Bird, Animal, and Tree. The TDP Government recently declared that the AP State’s bird is the beautiful Rose Ringed Parakeet, which is called as Rama Chiluka in the local language of Telugu. Coming to the State’s Animal, AP retained its former animal Krishna Jinka or Blackbuck and also continued the former tree, Neem as its State’s tree.

It’s time for us to update our knowledge regarding the two Telugu State’s GK after all these years. However, the Oppositions slam the Government for delaying these revelations for four long years post the bifurcation. One should know that there will be a lot of pressures on the Government as it should satisfy three regions of the State with its results.
