The by-elections for MLC candidates to hold on Aug 26 from 9 am to 4 pm. The last date for withdrawal of nominations is August 19.
In recent assembly elections, three of MLCs won MLA positions this led for by-elections. Karanam Balaramakrishna from TDP and rest two from YSRCP Alla Srinivas (Nani), Veerabhadra Swamy won MLA seats.
CM Jagan has finalised the names of MLC candidates for by-elections. They are Minister Mopidevi Venkataramana, Mohammed Iqbal, Challa Ramakrishna Reddy.
Third MLC seat reported designating for Marri Rajashekar from Chilakaluripeta. Marri Rajashekar was not assigned the ministry as promised earlier and now the MLC seat.
