Bangladesh All Out For Just 83 in tri-series

Bangladesh cricket team which is on a high after confirming its berth in the Tri-Nation (involving Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe) series final had a nightmare in their match against Sri Lanka. Bangladesh was all out for just 83 runs in Match 6 of the Tri-Series. After scoring 320 runs six days ago, against the same opposition, the Bangladesh batsman failed today.
Suranga Lakmal, who troubled India in the India vs Sri Lanka ODI series, led the Lanka bowling attack upfront. With blows from Thisara Perera in the middle overs, and Chameera and Sandakan wiping out the tail, Bangladesh was all out for just 83 in 24 overs.
The Sri Lanka batsman completed the formalities in 11.5 overs, without losing a wicket, after coming to bat with a target of 84 runs. The Lankan team registered a 10-wicket win over the hosts. Sri Lankan wicketkeeper Dickwella comments, ‘After a long time, we played out A game’, clearly tell the situation of Sri Lankan cricket. Suranga Lakmal picked 3 wickets, while the rest of 3 bowlers picked 2 each. There was the run out of Shakib Al Hasan, which added to the misery of Bangladesh.Sri Lanka and Bangladesh will play the finals for the Bangladesh Tri-Nation Series Cup in Shere Bangla National Stadium, Mirpur.
