Chandrababu Meets Congress Party Leaders

AP CM Nara Chandrababu Naidu left for Delhi last evening. Upon reaching the national capital he was welcomed by the TDP MPs who have been staying there for a quite a while. Post the formalities, the TDP MPs briefed Chandrababu about the atmosphere in Delhi political circles. It is during this meeting, Chandrababu discussed whether to meet the Congress leaders or not.
This topic has been the agenda during the TDP Legislative party, which was chaired by Chandrababu last evening in Delhi. During the meeting, many party senior leaders including, Somireddy advised Chandrababu to meet Congress party leaders. Given the fact that, Congress supported the no-confidence motion the TDP aimed to move in the Lok Sabha, the TDP leaders felt that it would be appropriate to meet the Congress party leaders, keeping the interests of Andhra Pradesh in mind.
At the same time, even few leaders suggested Chandrababu meet the TRS Party leaders, as TRS also extended its support.Post the meeting, Chandrababu Naidu spoke to the media. ‘I arrived here not as the president of TDP, but as a Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. This is a journey to secure our rights, and will go to any extent to make sure the state receives what all it has been promised,’ said Chandrababu.
