Chandrababu Naidu To Put AP On Fast Track

It looks like AP CM Chandrababu Naidu is one a fast track mode. With less than a year for the 2019 AP Assembly election notification to be released, the TDP Supremo is trying to complete the puzzle. As a part of the election strategy, the government sources have officially confirmed that ‘Unemployment Assistance’ would be given from the next month.
Adding to this, in the state cabinet meeting chaired by Chandrababu Naidu, key decisions have been taken. Along with the implementation of the ‘Unemployment Assistance’ scheme, the government is also looking to sort out the Agrigold victims’ issue. Preparedness of the respective departments for the upcoming Kharif season, and measures to be taken for the prevention of crop failure during the summer have also been taken.
The AP Special Category Status issue also cropped up in the meeting. Though no strong stance is taken on the issue, a close source confirmed that TDP will be formulating the ways to at least make sure the state gets its benefits from the Centre. The recent havoc created by rains in the past two days in Vishakhapatnam is also a part of the meeting’s agenda.
