Delhi Smog Receives Prince Charles And Camilla Parker

People are calling it karma, some are sympathizing with the royal couple and some are sarcastic but whatever it is, the royal couple exited their RAF plane, senior dignitaries and a thick smog welcomed them.

It was a day when the country’s capital schools remained closed due to heavy smog, Britain’s Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles landed in Delhi for the last leg of their 11-day Asia tour. The air quality of Delhi is described as a “gas chamber” by Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia.  Even on Tuesday, Belgium’s King Philippe was given a ceremonial reception at Rashtrapati Bhavan in between the thick smog giving blurry images making it a bad site.

Many joked and sympathized for the royal couple, but most of the tweets are sarcastic on the horrible weather conditions prevailing in Capital city Delhi.

While doctors have declared the situation in Delhi as a public health emergency. Due to this crisis, Delhi government declared schools to remain closed till Sunday. Even city’s annual half marathon was canceled to protect the participant’s health.
