The 2014 General elections marked the beginning of a new political era in India. The century-old Congress Party faced a humiliating defeat in the hands of BJP. The BJPwon 282 seats in the 2014 General Elections.
Modi-wave blew throughout the nation from 2013. Rahul Gandhi was treated as a rookie, in front of Modi and BJP. While Hardik Patel was completely ignored. Things have drastically changed in the last 4 years. The Modi-wave turned out to be an Anti-Modi wave in these 4 years.
It’s December 2017. With the first phase of Gujarat elections to take place in a couple of days, the nation eagerly watching the Gujarat elections. The alliance of Rahul Gandhi (Congress) and Hardik Patel turned to be a thorn for the BJP at the Centre and State. A recent public rally of Modi saw many empty chairs. On the contrary, thousands of people gathered for Hardik Patel’s meeting.
Even Siva Sena mentioned the same in its ‘Samna’ magazine. Modi has realized this even before Siva Sena shed light on it. Modi who only knew power, victory and respect, is now lost in the fear of ‘defeat’. The Gujarat elections might well mark the beginning of an end of Modi.
