Harish Shankar who became an overnight star director with the blockbuster hit of Gabbar Singh which has Power Star Pawan Kalyan in the lead role has failed to sustain that kind of momentum for his next films.Though he bagged some good hits at the box office none of the films could have managed to bring the impact that Gabbar Singh has brought. Harish Shankar has been hanging around with the script of Dagudu Moothalu since a while but nothing has materialized till date. His home banner Dil Raju productions also didn’t give him a lift in this script even though he gave a decent hit like Duvvada Jagannadham to his banner.
Right now it is heard that Harish Shankar has impressed the mega hero Varun Tej for his film but not for Dagudu Moothalu script. Its the remake of Jigirthanda film which has Siddharth and Bobby Simha in the lead roles. Varun Tej seems to have given his consent to the role of Bobby Simha. But one has to know that this film has already been dubbed in Telugu with the name Chikkadu Dorakadu.An official confirmation is still awaited on this.
