Hyderabad Metro Rail achieved another milestone in providing Metro Rail service to Hitec City area. On the first anniversary of Hyderabad Metro’s operations, the first trial run from Ameerpet to Hitec City is begin today. The team of engineers and technical members led by L&T MRHL MD KVB Reddy and HMRL MD NVS Reddy are travelled by a Metro train to observe the performance of the train and other critical parameters during the trial run. This Metro rail track from Ameerpet to Hitec City is 10km long covers seven stations in between them namely Madhura Nagar, Yousufguda, Jubilee Hills Road No. 5, Jubilee Hills Check Post, Peddammagudi Temple, Madhapur, Durgam Cheruvu and finally Hitec City.
HMRL and L&T MRHL have achieved this major milestone to provide the much-awaited metro rail service to Hitec City after overcoming several challenges like court cases against acquisition of the affected properties, sharp curvatures and gradients on a curvaceous road. HMRL Chief Electrical Engineer DVS Raju, Superintendent Engineer M Vishnu Vardhan Reddy, DCP A. Balakrishna, L&TMRHL Project Director MP Naidu, Chief Operating Officer AK Saini and other senior officials were also present in this trial run. KTR also shared this moment on his Twitter page and wrote, ” My compliments to @md_hmrl and @ltmhyd on the maiden trial run to the much needed Hitec city”.
