If ANR is Devarakonda, who is NTR?

As stated by a famous writer, NTR and ANR are like two eyes of the Telugu Film Industry. Both the heroes will live forever in the hearts of Telugu people. Along with these two, ‘Mahanati’ Savithri is undoubtedly the queen of Telugu Cinema. She is ‘beauty personified’. It is known that Nag Ashwin is directing the biopic on Savithri titled ‘Mahanati’. Keerthi Suresh would be reprising Savithri on the screen.

It’s understandable that, without the characters of NTR and ANR in Savithri’s life, the film would surely lose its soul. At this time, it was rumored that, Jr. NTR and Naga Chaitanya would be reprising the roles of their grandfathers, NTR and ANR respectively. Nag Ashwin has neither approached any of those top heroes.savithri

The director has instead roped in Vijay Devarakonda as ANR and is scouting for an actor who can reprise NTR. The news of Vijay Devarakonda as ANR has been confirmed by the film’s production unit. It is heard that Nag Ashwin has already approached 3-4 young heroes, and is likely to shortlist one of them very soon. Currently, the film’s shooting is at full swing with its last schedule on sets. Most likely, the film is expected to release as a ‘Summer Feast’ for the Telugu audience.
