Now, he achieved an international award. Recently, he did Mersal movie in the direction of Atlee and dubbed in Telugu as Adirindi. In this movie, Nithya Menon, Kajal Agarwal, Samatha are the heroines. Previously, this movie won the UK-2018 best foreign film award. Now, Vijay won the International best actor award from International Achievement Recognition Awards (IARA-2018). Moreover that, he nominated for two categories, i.e, Best Actor and Best International Actor 2018.

A prominent company in London has conducted this award ceremony on September 23rd in London. A few months back, IARA committee conducted a poll on social media. Eventually, the social media people elected Vijay in the best actor nominations. And recently, IARA has announced the award according to the voter’s choice. Vijay got in international identity with Mersal but he did not attend the event. Really, Mersal movie showed the drawbacks of Indian Medical jurisprudence system and aware the people. In that time, some allegations also raised on this movie for degrading government schemes. Whatever it may be, our Ilayathalapathy is an internationally recognized actor now.
