Japanese Serial Killer used Twitter as Medium to lure suicidal Victims
Cops say the Japanese killer Takahiro Shirashi reportedly admitted to killing nine people since August. Police found in his apartment, multiple severed heads and bodies.
The suspect, a 27-year-old, serial killer who apparently found all his victims, via Twitter, reports the local paper. Japanese authorities arrested Takahiro Shirashi, who lives about 25 miles outside Tokyo, supposedly admitted to investigating officers that he killed nine people since August after police disclosed several heads and the bodies of eight women and one man inside his apartment.
In a grisly tale, Shirashi reportedly used Twitter to find women who’d expressed suicidal thoughts over the service, murdering and beheading them. He also accepted to have sexually assaulted some of the women who he murdered. All the victims are women, except alone male who was a boyfriend to one of the victims who unfortunately happened to visit Shirashi’s apartment to look for his girlfriend.
When Police arrived to question him, he reportedly cooperated with them, by replying “in the cooler” when questioned about the missing women.Suicidal tendencies seem to be the connecting thread with all his victims. Police could only encounter him while investigating the disappearance of a 23-year-old woman who was reported missing by her brother on 24th October. The women victim was last seen in CCTV footage at a train station. This lead to more clues.Neighbors found him as cheerful but a creepy person. Japan has third highest suicide rate among developed nations.
