Now that the first installment Kathanayakudu has been out, all eyes are set on the second part Mahanayakudu for its Political flavor. Touted to be the real life history of legend NTR, the flick has got some plus and minus points.
The plot of NTR’s entry into the Politics and his stupendous win will be the main highlight of the second part and this will be very cinematic compared to the drama less first part. This will be a huge positive. Also the flop show of Kathanayakudu also decreased the expectations on the second part, which will be a huge bonus for the makers as the audience will go to theatres with less expectations. More things like the backstabbing episode and other curious things like NTR’s second marriage will bring NTR fans to the movie.
On the other side of the coin, this flick is releasing in non festival time, which is not so good for movies to get better results. Being released in Sankranti, Kathanayakudu bombed like anything so Mahanayakudu’s run might be worrying the makers to the core. Whatever might be the reason, the director Krish and actor cum producer Bala Krishna are waiting eagerly to set the stage on fire by presenting the most talked life period of NTR the great.
