Hyderabad: The news of Telugu superstar, Mahesh Babu, and Bollywood-hottie, Ranveer Singh, shooting together has gone viral. The two big names are going to share the same frame, but not for a movie; Ranveer and Mahesh Babu will appear together in a commercial for a soft drink brand they have been individually endorsing for years: Thums up.
Based on the latest pictures, the two charmers appear all decked up in a black racing suit. If sources were to be believed, the ad-film is going to be as thrilling as a dual-hero Bollywood movie. With fast cars and racing tracks, the commercial is expected to be set your adrenaline rushing; it will be a worth a watch.
The company replaced Salman Khan with the Padmavati antagonist, Ranveer Singh, who has been endorsing the brand for quite some time; Bharat Ane Nenu actor, Mahesh Babu, has been associated with the brand for over 10 years. Apparently, the company wanted the two hunks to share the screen together and double the excitement. It has always been a treat to the eye watching a Bollywood star and a South Indian actor collaborating. Deccan Chronicle reported a source saying, “Mahesh Babu has been endorsing Thums Up for ten years now. The company refuses to let go of him, and he’s a dedicated brand ambassador. So much so that his family members are not allowed to drink any soft drink other than Thums Up. As for Ranveer, he stepped into Salman Khan’s shoes in 2016 when Thums Up decided to drop the senior superstar as their ambassador.”
Seven months ago, the SPYder actor’s wife, Namrata Shirodkar, shared a handful of pictures from the sets of Thums up charged in California, on her Instagram account. Subsequent to the post, entire Tollywood, as well as Bollywood, went crazy. It took Instagram by storm as comments flooded below the pictures in countless numbers. Considering the huge fan-base that these studs hold, they are surely going to charm us with the commercial. It will be an audacious and action-packed ad, similar to the ones featuring Salman Khan and Suniel Shetty back in the day, or perhaps better.
