After the announcement of NTR biopics by Balakrishna and RGV, the fans and followers wanted a biopic on their favorite leader Y.S Rajasekhar Reddy. Seems the idea has now transformed into a real project as the obtained information reveals interesting details of this movie.

It was earlier speculated that some producers are willing to bankroll a biopic on Y.S Rajasekhar Reddy’s life history. They also approached the director Mahi V Raghava of Anando Brahma fame to helm this project. After all these days, the director Mahi himself made it official to a leading media that he is working on this script. Details from a deep inquiry revealed that he is not going to show the whole life history of YSR but the crucial stage of his entire life Padha Yatra. It is this Yatra who brought YSR to the power for the first time in his life and made him a Monopoly leader who ruled AP for two terms in a row. So the movie is also titled as Yatra as it resembles the theme plot of the movie.

To everyone’s surprise, Mahi made the Malayalam superstar Mammootty and got his dates to play the character of YSR in this flick. The director is regularly meeting Mammootty to improvise the script to match the body language of Mohan Lal in order to release it in both Telugu and Malayalam. More details of this flick will be officially announced in the upcoming days.
