Modi shook hands with Manmohan Singh after the war of words

After days of a bitter war of words between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and former PM Manmohan Singh, at last, shook hands with each other at Parliament House in New Delhi on Wednesday.
This is the first time both leaders came face to face after PM Modi, pulled Manmohan Singh into Pakistan’s role in domestic politics during the election campaign. Manmohan Singh even released a statement demanding an apology from the Prime Minister. On the occasion of the 16th anniversary of brave hearts of 2001, political leaders came to Parliament House to pay floral tributes.
Even Vice President Venkaiah Naidu, Congress elected President, Rahul Gandhi along with some other ministers were also present at the Occasion.
On December 13, 2001, in a horrific incident, five heavily armed terrorists who belonged to the terror outfit Lakshar- e-Taiba (LET) and Jaish- e- Mohammed (JEM), took by storm the complex in New Delhi and opened fire indiscriminately. In the incident, around 14 people died, most of them were from security forces and one civilian.
