Meet Ms. Ramalakshmi in Rangasthalam Today!

‘Rangasthalam’ the most awaited films for this summer is directed by Sukumar. Ram Charan and Samantha were shown in a never seen been before avatars by this director. Sukumar is always creative and comes up with a different visualization of characters. He hit the right point this time too, with Cherry. Now it is the time to show, his heroine Samantha.

People became excited when the movie teaser was earlier released but failed to impress certain sections of movie lovers as the teaser did not reveal anything about Samantha’s look or character. It is understood that Sukumar has deliberately kept Samantha away in the initial teaser as she is playing a village girl and he wanted to introduce her in solo with another teaser.

Samantha, last evening took to twitter and revealed about her upcoming teaser. She tweeted “I hope you will love me as Ramalakshmi as much as I loved playing her character. I am absolutely proud of Rangasthalam. The poster reveals that ‘Meet our Rama Lakshmi tomorrow at 11 AM”.

The story of Rangasthalam is based on a village background. Chittibabu’s character is enacted by Ram Charan playing deaf, while Ramalakshmi, portrayed by Sam is a dumb girl. The two glamour filled actors never played such challenging roles before. Even it is a first time for director Sukumar to venture a film with a village concept.

As a part of the film’s promotion, the latest teaser revealing the character of Samantha as ‘Rama Lakshmi’ is out. The production unit released the teaser just a while back on YouTube.

While Samantha walks curvaceously towards the river to fetch some water, Ram Charan lauds the beauty of Samantha, introducing her as Rama Lakshmi. His lines, ‘her presence turns the village into a sweet 18. She is the one who stole the heart of this Chitti Babu. By the way, she is Ramalakshmi’ bring the fresh feel of the village kind of love story.

Samantha as Rama Lakshmi is surely going to steal the limelight. Her embellishment on the screen is stunning. The chemistry between Chitti Babu and Rama Lakshmi will be a treat to watch on the big screen.

Introducing Aakash Jagannadh and Neha Shetty, Puri Jagannadh’s directorial ‘Mehbooba’ teaser has been on his YouTube Channel today at 10 AM. The teaser raised everyone’s expectations with high-octane actions scenes, rich visuals and an intense apt BGM. The new pair Akash and Neha looked good together.

The teaser starts showing the Indo-Pakistan border security force opening gates, followed by war aircrafts leading the Indian troops along the LOC. It looks like a passionate love story with a war backdrop. Neha Shetty plays the role of a Kashmiri Muslim girl, while the hero is an Indian Jawan. It is all about how love transcends time, about how the feeling of love makes you cross the borders, making you take every risk.

Vocals rendered by ace singer Shreya Ghoshal makes your heart weak and fragile. While the music and visuals add extra depth to each frame, the rusty colouring takes you back in time. The backdrop of the film reminds you of the film ‘1942, a love story’ starring Anil Kapoor and Manisha Koirala. The film’s music is composed by Sandeep Chowta. Puri Jagannadh is producing the film on ‘Puri Jagannadh Touring Talkies’ and ‘Puri Connects’.

It looks like the Clash of Titans: NTR, Prabhas, and Mahesh Babu is inevitable. Prabhas is quite busy with ‘Sahoo’ movie shooting. After a schedule in Hyderabad, the movie unit flew to Dubai for canning key action sequences in the backdrop of iconic Burj Khalifa.

Given the extensive CG and VFX visuals, and action sequences, Sahoo is likely to release for 2018 Sankranti.

Meanwhile, Mahesh Babu’s next film with Vamsi Paidipalli will be going on to sets very shortly. Though this is a drama themed film, being the 25th film in Mahesh’s (#MB25) career, the director will put all his efforts in making #MB25 a memorable one.

Finally, Jr NTR’s movie with Trivikram will soon begin. Radha Krishna is producing the on Haarika and Hassine Creations production house. Trivikram has the habit of taking a long time for completion of a film. Keeping Agnyaathavaasi impact in mind, the director will try to ensure the movie with Jr NTR comes out in the best form. Given the scenario, it will be impossible to be complete the movie’s shoot before December 2018.

With all three movies heading towards completion by the year ending, their target too will be Sankranti 2018.

In fact, 2018 Sankranti will be a bigger festival with these releases. While this turns out to be a worrying factor for producers, who usually bank on opening day collections.

Mega hero, ‘Supreme Star’ Sai Dharam Tej is waiting eagerly for his latest film ‘Intelligent’ release. The movie is directed by VV Vinayak, while C Kalyan produced the movie. Lavanya Tripathi is pairing up alongside Sai Dharam Tej in the movie.

Despite back-to-back failures at the box-office, Sai Dharam Tej is hopeful that ‘Intelligent’ will change his fortunes. Likewise, the movie’s pre-release business took everyone by surprise. Intelligent movie pre-release business stood at Rs 26.50 crores, excluding the overseas rights. Intelligent movie pre-release business breakup is as follows:

  • Andhra – Rs 13.5 Crores
  • Nizam – Rs 6.30 crores
  • Ceeded – Rs 5.40 Crores
  • Rest of India – Rs 1.30 Crores
  • Total – Rs 26.50 Crores

This is the highest pre-release business for a Sai Dharam Tej film until now. Though the producer seems to be partially happy, the film still needs to achieve ‘average’ talk, for the distributors to stay afloat. This is a crucial time in Sai Dharam Tej’s career, given the expectations and hopes on him. In fact, film circles believe that, Teju has the capability to become a successor to Megastar Chiranjeevi on the silver screen.

Intelligent is releasing on January 9th in both the Telugu States and rest of India.

Director Ram Gopal Varma is a very close relative to controversies. Irrespective of the issue, RGV puts his 100% effort to turn that issue into a controversy. He recently came up with the short film ‘God, Sex and Truth’ starring adult actress Mia Malkova. Prior to the short film’s release, RGV became a part of the never-ending list of controversies. At times, the maverick director himself has gone overboard. During a live TV show debate, he ended up attacking a woman on a personal level. The woman was deeply offended by the director’s comments.

In this context, the respective woman approached the Hyderabad police and filed a complaint against Ram Gopal Varma. On examining the evidence submitted by the victim, and related TV clippings, the police have come to an understanding that RGV did cross the lines, and even sent him notices. Ram Gopal Varma had to attend the police as a part of the case’s investigation today at 6:00 pm.

But shockingly, RGV’s lawyer responded to the notices stating that the director is busy with his shooting, and has not received notice. He asked the police to send the notices once again. The Hyderabad Police will be soon issuing the notices for the 2nd time. If Varma doesn’t turn up this time too, an arrest warrant is likely to be issued against RGV.

The announced flick in the most hyped combination of Young Tiger NTR Jr and Trivikram is yet to start its regular shoot. But the makers of the project are counting stars to fix a release date for having maximum openings.

The debacle of Agnyathavaasi has cautioned both Trivikram and Producer S.Radha Krishna to be more careful in production. Thus, they decided to take their own time to work on the script in order to score a hit. So Trivikram will take his own time to complete the flick by this year’s second half. If they plan the release for Dussehra, then the biggie ‘Bharat Ane Nenu’ would give a huge competition to this flick. For sure BAN has many expectations and fans are eagerly waiting to see Srimanthudu’s combo once again. Also, the hard-core fans of Mahesh who are in bad mood with ‘Spyder’ flop are counting down days for the BAN.

So Trivikram is opting for Sankranthi release. But then, the most awaited flick of Rebel star ‘Saaho’ will be released in many regions and it will surely affect this flick. These two projects are making Radha Krishna restless. Comparatively, BAN competition is better than Saaho as Prabhas has the National wide potential for now.

The sensible filmmaker Ashok has been back to form after many years with the stupendous success of Bhagmati. This much-needed hit is now helping him to complete a project which was shelved in the past.

Ashok stunned the entire T-town with his touching script ‘Pilla Zamindar’. This flick created a silent impact such that the script and dialogues trended for quite a lot of time. But he failed to continue this success as his second venture ‘Rakumarudu’ bombed miserably. However, he managed to impress the Victory Venkatesh for a new kind of script which Venky never tried in his career. But this flick was halted due to creative differences between director and the hero. Ashok took his time and proved his talent yet again with ‘Bhaagmathie’ and won the accolades of critics.

Thus he has also made Venky look at him with rather a confidence. Convinced with Ashok’s script and his present form, Venky asked this maker to revive the shelved project such that his brother Suresh will bankroll the project in case any producers don’t dare to attempt. So Ashok is rumoured to be reworking on this shelved project to make it a new sensation in Tollywood. Sources say that this flick is on and the pre-production works are at a rapid pace. Details of the regular shoot and lead cast will be updated soon in the upcoming days. This script will be completely a new kind and out of the box concept in the history of Telugu Cinema.

Currently, Venkatesh is working under the creative maker Teja. Apart from this flick, he is doing a multi-starrer with Varun Tej under the most successful commercial director Anil Ravipudi.

VV Vinayak is a sensational mass director who has worked with all the top stars of Telugu film Industry including Megastar Chiranjeevi. Pawan Kalyan and Mahesh Babu are the only exceptions. Currently, he has put his luck to test with his directorial film ‘Intelligent’ with mega hero Sai Dharam Tej and Lavanya Tripathi in the female lead. The movie will be releasing on February 9th.

Recently, the film unit interacted with the press for the promotions of ‘Intelligent’. They revealed many interesting things about the film. When the mass director was questioned about the sequel for Adhurs, he told he is always keen to work with NTR and is still on the hunt for a good script for a sequel to Adhurs.

The ace director also told to have worked on few scripts with Mahesh Babu, but the subject hasn’t shaped up well. Once we work things out, we might team up sometime in future, Vinayak said. Moreover, we feel bored of doing our own stories all the time, said Vinayak. It is sometimes preferred to take stories of writers once in a while. This was advised to me by K Raghavendra Rao’.

‘My focus is presently set on the release of ‘Intelligent’ and its performance’ he concluded.
