Mega fans have been waiting eagerly for the Power Star Pawan Kalyan starrer ‘Agnathavasi’. The film is being directed by Trivikram Srinivas. The production unit has recently stated that the film wrapped up it’s shooting with the last leg in Europe. But the recent news is that the production team is gearing up for another new schedule in Varanasi. Close sources to the production unit have confirmed the same.

Scenes will be panned on Pawan Kalyan and other star cast in the film in Varanasi. Pawan Kalyan returned to Hyderabad recently from London. Pawan Kalyan received the prestigious IEBF – Indo European Business Forum Excellency Award in the House of Lords. Trivikram Srinivas shot some scenes in Hyderabad while Pawan Kalyan was away.

The director and the production team are working day and night to ensure that the film releases according to the schedule, i.e., for 2018 Sankranti festival. Keerthi Suresh and Anu Immanuel are the heroines starring opposite Pawan Kalyan in the film. The film has already achieved a huge pre-release business, owing to the Pawan Kalyan-Trivikram combination. Trade analysts are predicting that ‘Agnathavasi’ will rewrite many Telugu film records in terms of collections and business.

It is heard that if the controversy continues for another couple of days, the AP State Government might well take a U-Turn on Nandi Awards. In what could be considered as the biggest intimidation in the largest democratic nation in the world, the Akhila Bharatiya Kshatriya Mahasabha (ABKM) President Bhuvneshwar Singh has announced a bounty to burn Deepika Padukone alive.

It is reported that Bhuvneshwar Singh reportedly declared that he would give Rs. 1 Crore to anyone who burns Deepika Padukone alive. He said, ‘Deepika Padukone should know the real character of Rani Padmini who had performed Jauhar (burning alive in a fire). I will give 1 crore to anyone who forces Deepika Padukone to perform Jauhar’.

Recently, Kshatriya Samaj has announced a bounty of Rs. 5 crores for beheading Deepika Padukone and director Sanjay Leela Bhansali.

The film’s release has been postponed after the CBCF refused to certify the film on the grounds of ‘incomplete application’. One of the producers, Viacom 18’s representative has recently announced that ‘the film will not be released on 1st of December. We respect the constitution and the CBFC. We are hoping that we would obtain all the obligatory permission for the release of the film.’

It is official. Directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali starring Deepika Padukone, ‘Padmavathi’ film has been postponed. Which means, the film will not be releasing on December 1st as stated earlier. The film’s production unit has announced that the film has been postponed, and no new release date has been confirmed yet.

‘Padmavathi’ is yet to get a certificate from the CBFC – Central Board of Film Certification. Many people are expecting that this could be the possible reason for postponing the film. An official representative for Viacom 18 Motion Pictures said that ‘We respect the law and constitution, and CBFC. We are hoping that we will obtain all the obligatory permission required for the release of the film very soon.’

The CBFC rejected to certify the film by stating that ‘Application form’ was incomplete. CBFC Chief Prasoon Joshi condemned the screening of the film to media personnel even before it’s certification. ‘Padmavathi’ has been involved in a lot of controversies right from the initial days of the production.

Most notably, the Karni Sena has raised serious objections about few scenes in the film. ‘In reality, Rani Padmini and Khilji never met. But this film even illustrates a love-story between the two. Such kind of content is deeply hurting us,’ said the Karni Sena protestors in the past. With CBFC yet to certify the film, the production unit had no other choice but to postpone the film. No ‘New-date of release’ has been announced yet.

After facing a severe backlash from Karni Sena in the north-west and BJP leaders in the north, the film is facing even from the south. The ‘Viswa Hindu Parishath’ of Chennai called for a ban on the release of the film in Tamil Nadu. The protesters from the organization warned that they would be staging protests in front of the theatres if the film is released.
