Emily Ratajkowski didn’t enjoy sex until she realised she’s doing it for herself

Actress Emily Ratajkowski needed time to realise that sex was “pleasureable.”

The ‘Gone Girl’ actress and supermodel, 31, has been rumoured to date a string of men including former One Direction singer Harry Styles, 29, since she split from her estranged ex-husband Sebastian Bear-McClard, 42, and said that she only started to enjoy herself when she was getting intimate with partners when she realised she wasn’t doing it for them, reports aceshowbiz.com.

“I think knowing that you don’t owe anyone anything is very important. In my case, I didn’t know how sex could be pleasurable… I didn’t understand my own body, my own anatomy,” she told Spanish Vogue in a cover interview to mark 35 years of the magazine.

The mum-of-one, who had son Sylvester, two, with Sebastian, also advised children starting to have sex: “The truth is that, whoever opposes, kids are going to have sex, so the best we can do is give them the protection for it and teach them the tools of active consent. If there’s something you don’t feel right about, it’s not right.”

Along with recently being spotted kissing Harry Styles in Tokyo since her marriage split, Emily has dated comedian Eric Andre, 40, DJ Orazio Rispo, 35, actor Pete Davidson, 29, artist Jack Greer, 35, and been linked to 59-year-old Brad Pitt.

Ratajkowski said about how she finds the interest in her love life bemusing: “It’s very bizarre to have certain experiences and then have the whole world know and comment on them. I’m just a person who’s gone from a three-year relationship (with musician Jeff Magid, 46) to a four-year one (with her ex-husband Sebastian).”

“So this is the first time in a long time I’ve been in a dating stage. The interest there is in that particular area is very strange. Not that I’m surprised, but it’s a tiny slice of my life.”

‘Harry Potter’ star backs JK Rowling, vows to confront critics over trans issues

0

‘Harry Potter’ author J.K. Rowling has been backed by actor Jim Broadbent, 73, as he pledges to confront her critics “if it came to it.”

The Oscar-winning actor, who played Horace Slughorn in three of the film adaptations of the famous book series, also said the abuse aimed at J.K., 57, was “really sad”, reports Mirror.co.uk.

His comments come as it was revealed there will be a brand-new Harry Potter TV series, with many people already vowing to boycott it. In response to the backlash, Rowling tweeted: “Dreadful news, which I feel duty bound to share. Activists in my mentions are trying to organise yet another boycott of my work, this time of the Harry Potter TV show. As forewarned is forearmed, I’ve taken the precaution of laying in a large stock of champagne.”

Speaking in an interview with The Daily Telegraph, Broadbent was asked for his opinion on Rowling and the backlash she’s received due to her position on single-sex spaces, trans rights and gender.

He replied, quoted by Mirror.co.uk: “It’s really sad. I think J.K. Rowling is amazing. I haven’t had to confront it myself, but I would support her in that, I think, if it came to it.”

Many avid fans of Harry Potter have slammed the idea of turning the world-famous book and movie franchise into a TV series after the main cast have almost all distanced themselves from Rowling following her controversial views about the LGBTQ+ community.

Mirror.co.uk further states that her controversial views on transgender people and gender identity caused widespread outrage during the height of the pandemic after she slammed the term ‘people who menstruate’ being used in replace of the word ‘woman’ in a tweet.

Following the blow-up, Rowling penned a lengthy essay on her website stating her position on trans issues, which boils down to her belief that biological sex should be considered separate from gender.

“Yeah, it was awesome. It was like the best time ever. I mean, doing ‘Avengers’ was so much fun. I was 26 years old, I was single, it was fun! You know, I didn’t have any responsibility to anybody but to just enjoy yourself,” Scarlett said to Gwyneth Paltrow – who starred as Pepper Potts in the ‘Iron Man’ movies – on ‘The Goop Podcast’,” reports aceshowbiz.com.

“And then every couple of years, we would go back, and do it again, and all be in different places in our lives. Like, somebody would have a kid, or was getting married, or divorced, or remarried, or whatever. And it was like, I don’t know, an adult summer camp thing. And it was cool. It was really, really some of the best experiences.”

“I’m done. Yes, I’m done. Chapter is over. I did all that I had to do. Also, coming back and playing a character again and again like that, over a decade of time, is such a unique experience.”

Daniel Craig, daughter are ‘bonding’ over ‘Star Wars,’ says wife Rachel Weisz

0

Actress Rachel Weisz’s husband Daniel Craig and their four-year-old daughter Grace are big ‘Star Wars’ fans.

While promoting her new series Dead Ringers, the actress, 53, shared on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on Friday that her 4-year-old daughter got a little too “obsessed” with the popular sci-fi movie series after watching it with her father, reports people.com.

“It was like a father-daughter bonding experience, and they started on the original ones,” Weisz told host Stephen Colbert.

“I’m not that deep into it, but my daughter got obsessed. She kept saying, ‘Google this. Google this: What does Darth Vader look like under his mask?'”

“She wants to know everything,” she added. “She’s obsessed with the mythology and these characters are so real for her.”

Weisz said Grace’s fascination with the movies was getting a little “too intense,” so her father stepped in to tell her that Star Wars “is broken.”

“We were in London when this happened,” Weisz said.

“(Grace) said, ‘Dad says Star Wars is broken.’ So they can’t watch it anymore. And we just got to New York and she said, ‘Is Star Wars broken in New York too?'”

“And so I said, ‘Yeah, yeah it’s broken,” Weisz joked.

The actress said that so far, Grace had seen the first three original films in the Star Wars trilogy and Craig has shown her some clips from the later movies.

Colbert then turned to question Weisz about the film series, as she didn’t know the first movie was originally called Star Wars and couldn’t recall whether she watched the series or not.

“How many Star Wars movies have there been?” Colbert asked, to which she incorrectly responded, “12.”

Colbert teased that this is the “part of the movie where we find out [Weisz is] the alien,” before asking her a few more pop questions about the movie.

“What is the thing they’re trying to destroy in the movie?,” he asked, warning the audience “Don’t tell her.”

“Darth Vader?” Weisz also mistakenly answered.

She finally got an answer right when he asked her what the “spiritual thing” they use is called, and she answered with “the Force,” to which Colbert responded, “Thank you! On to the next round!”

First Indian and Asian song to receive the Oscar award

Union Home Minister Amit Shah will meet the Oscar award-winning team of Naatu Naatu song in Hyderabad on Sunday. During his brief visit to Telangana, he will meet the artists associated with the Oscar award-winning song from S.S. Rajamouli’s blockbuster RRR over high tea at Novotel Hotel near Rajiv Gandhi International Airport. Rajamouli, Music director M.M. Keeravani, lyricist Chandrabose, singers Rahul Sipligunj and Kaala Bhairava, choreographer Prem Rakshith, actors Junior NTR and Ram Charan are likely to be present during the meeting. Last month, Naatu Naatu bagged the Oscar award for Best Original Song to become the first Indian and Asian song to receive the Oscar award.

After returning to India, Ram Charan along with his father Chiranjeevi met Amit Shah in Delhi. In August last year, Amit Shah met Junior NTR at Novotel Hotel near Hyderabad Airport. The Union Minister has reportedly requested the meeting after he liked the actor’s performance in RRR. The BJP leader is scheduled to meet the RRR team soon after landing at Rajiv Gandhi Airport around 4 p.m. He will then leave for Chevella near Hyderabad by road as part of the Parliament Pravas Yojana. Amit Shah will address a public meeting at Chevella the same evening. The BJP is making large-scale arrangements for the meeting, seen as a part of the party’s preparations for Assembly elections in Telangana scheduled later this year. Meanwhile, the party’s state leadership is busy making a list of leaders from other parties who will be joining the BJP in the presence of Amit Shah at the Chevella meeting.

Former minister Jupally Krishna Rao and former MP Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy are likely to join BJP. They were recently suspended from Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) for anti-party activities. The BJP is looking to woo many leaders from BRS and Congress to its ranks to consolidate itself in the run-up to the polls. Last week, AICC programs implementation committee chairman Alleti Maheshwar Reddy joined the BJP. Amit Shah’s visit to Hyderabad comes close on the heels of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit. During his visit on April 8, the Prime Minister launched several developmental projects and also addressed a public meeting. Upbeat after Modi’s visit, the state leadership of the party is drawing plans to invite him and Amit Shah to the state every month.
