Adivi Sesh’s pan-India film ‘Major’ getting ready for nationwide previews

Hyderabad, May 23 Adivi Sesh portraying the role of 26/11 martyr Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan in the movie ‘Major’, has so far drawn rave reviews for the theatrical trailer and other promotional stuff.

The makers of ‘Major’ have now announced nationwide previews.

“Namaste India. We are coming to you with our film, 10 days in advance.#Major Pre-release Film Screenings across India from May 24th,” the producers wrote, as they officially announced the advance previews of the movie, on their social media handles.

Exclusive preview screenings will happen in a number of cities across India, the details of which are yet to be revealed.

The much-anticipated pan-India film directed by Adivi Sesh will release on June 3 amid high expectations.

The team is also working hard to make Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan’s biographical film one of the most successful biographical films about real heroes.

Directed by Shashi Kiran Tikka, the movie stars Saie Manjrekar, Prakash Raj, Shobita, and others in the lead roles.

Recently, Karan and Tejasswi attended a party and shared adorable pictures on social media.

In one of the pictures, Karan was seen planting a kiss on Tejasswi’s cheek, while in another Tejasswi hugged Karan from the back.

During a media interview, Karan said that they don’t hide anything and go with natural progression.

“When it comes to marriage, ‘Madam ke pass time Kahan hai’ (Madam Tejasswi has no time,” Karan said, adding that Tejasswi keeps blaming him in her interviews for the delay and now he is doing the same.

In another interview with the media, he also shared that they both were destined to meet on ‘Bigg Boss 15’ and that was the reason both agreed to do the show together despite the fact they were being approached for years.

First schedule of Samantha-Vijay Deverakonda starrer ‘Kushi’ wraps up

Hyderabad, May 23’Kushi’, a romantic love story directed by Shiva Nirvana, stars Vijay Deverakonda and Samantha Ruth Prabhu as the lead pair. The team’s first schedule has now been completed in Kashmir, according to the latest information.

The film’s director announced the same, as he shared a couple of pictures from the sets of the movie, on his social media profiles.

“Amazing first schedule in Kashmir. Thank you Vijay Deverakonda, Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Vennela Kishore, Saranya Pradeep, and whole Kushiteam,” Shiva Nirvana said in a tweet.

Audiences reacted well to the recently released first look poster from the Samantha and Vijay Deverakonda-starrer.

The duo is expected to create a magical love tale in ‘Kushi’, as the audience waits to witness their chemistry on screen.

Murali Sharma, Jayaram, Sachin Khedakar, Saranya Pradeep, Vennela Kishore, and others starred in the film, which is being produced by Mythri Movie Makers.

The music director for this multilingual film is Hesham Abdul Wahab, and it is set to be released on December 23.

Mumbai, May 23 Bollywood star couple Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone were pictured partying with Hollywood star Rebecca Hall at Cannes.

A string of pictures from the prestigious annual event is doing rounds on social media wherein Ranveer and Deepika are seen partying with Hall. In the images, the three stars are posing for the camera with straight faces.

In another image, they are seen laughing.

Ranveer is seen in a zebra print shirt, while Deepika looks ethereal in a white printed shirt paired with a pink skirt. Hall chose a floral dress and accessorized the look with drop earrings.

Deepika is one of the jury members this year at the Cannes film festival. Vincent Lindon is the president of the jury, while the competition members are Rebecca Hall, Deepika Padukone, Noomi Rapace, Asghar Farhadi, Ladj Ly, Trinca, Jeff Nichols, and Joachim Trier.

The jury will announce this year’s winners on May 28.

Hyderabad, May 23 Director Anil Ravipudi was asked about the details of his film with Balakrishna, ‘NBK108’ while promoting his upcoming film, ‘F3’.

Anil, exclusively mentions that ‘PellisandaD’ actress Sreeleela will play a key role in the film as Balakrishna’s daughter, which has only added to the buzz surrounding the film.

Despite not giving away too much, Anil discussed the characterization and role of Balakrishna, who will appear as actress Sreeleela’s father in their highly-anticipated next.

According to Anil, the film is character-driven, with Balakrishna playing a pivotal role. Balakrishna’s character has been designed with a tinge of comedy, with the action scenes of the film receiving more attention.

While Anil’s forte is a comedy, he says he is willing to take a chance on a never-before attempt at Balakrishna’s film.

“I haven’t been this giddy in a long time. Going offbeat and portraying Balakrishna in the way that the makers have portrayed the heroes of ‘Arjun Reddy’, ‘Pokiri’, or ‘Gabbar Singh’ is a challenge for me. I mean that his presence in the film will be based on a character,” explained Anil.

Balakrishna is currently working on an upcoming film directed by Gopichand Mallineni, while Anil is awaiting the release of his recent directorial ‘F3’.

Mumbai, May 23 Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has reacted to the Central government’s new initiative in making the police force all over India more people-friendly.

To improve the image of police officers in the country, Praveen Pardeshi, a Member Administration at Capacity Building Commission, shared a post about proactively solving the problems.

Salman, whose iconic police officer character Chulbul Pandey from ‘Dabangg’ stands against injustice in the film franchise, shared a tweet and stated that Chulbul’s dreams have been fulfilled.

The star wrote: “Government of India has launched a massive training program to make the police forces all over India more people-friendly. Ab Chulbul Pandey Ki Aasha Sach hui. #Praveenpardeshi @PMOIndia.”

On the work front, the ‘Wanted’ star is gearing up for ‘Tiger 3’. He will reprise his role along with Katrina Kaif, while Emraan Hashmi is the new addition to the franchise.

Court stops screening of Rajasekhar-starrer ‘Shekar’ in theatres

Hyderabad, May 22 A court order has been issued to stop the screening of ‘Shekar’ in theatres with effect from 4.30 p.m., Sunday, May 22, until further notice, said actor Rajasekhar.

The local court has ordered that screening of ‘Shekar’ be canceled everywhere, citing the film’s total negative rights being attached. A financial disagreement has triggered the situation.

Following the court order, Rajasekhar took to social media to claim that the film’s screenings had been halted because of a conspiracy. Rajasekhar’s note reads: “Shekar is everything for my family and me. We worked very hard to bring this film to the audience. Shekar was garnering such a great response, but today,” he added, “Just out of spite, some people have conspired and stopped our film from screening. Cinema is our life, this film especially was our hope.. I’ve run out of things to say. I can only hope that this film will eventually get the visibility and appreciation it truly deserves.”

‘Shekar’, Rajasekar’s latest film, was released in theatres a few days ago. The film, directed by his wife Jeevitha Rajashekar, has received positive reviews from critics.

‘Vikrant Rona’ will introduce Jacqueline Fernandez as Gadang Rakkamma – The Queen Of Good Times in the first single to be released on Tuesday, May 23.

The song is sung by Sunidhi Chauhan and Nakash Aziz while it will get you to dance on its quirky beats and signature chorus to shout out in your party arena. It will bring a perfect blend of a party number with some amazing beats to dance on that will redefine the dance numbers ever encountered on the screen.

Starting Tuesday, for five days, the makers plan to release one language version of the song each day.

Mumbai, May 21 Popular actress, and judge Mouni Roy opened up about her biggest childhood nightmare involving clowns on ‘DID L’il Masters 5’.

On the show, the 11-year-old Sadiya performed as a joker, showcasing the funny side and the evil side of the clown through the act of the song ‘Main Koi Aisa Geet Gaoon’.

After looking at her performance, Mouni shared about her childhood nightmare.

As Mouni said: “Sadiya’s act literally spooked me. In fact, I still have goosebumps on my hands. Not many people know, but I have always been very afraid of jokers since my childhood. I belong to a small town, and whenever I used to visit the circus, people with painted faces used to scare me every single time.”

Talking about Sadiya’s act, the ‘DID L’il Master’ judge mentioned: “Coming to the beginning of her performance, the lights were off, and no one had seen Sadiya till then. However, as soon as the lights were turned on, her menacing face painted as a clown, and her smile left me spooked. I think this act proved that she is a true artist, and her portrayal of a clown was really worthy of praise and appreciation.”
