Mumbai, May 13 After a short break, actor Abhimanyu Dassani got back into action as he unveiled the power-packed motion poster of his upcoming film, ‘Nikamma’ on Friday. Packed with elements of action, comedy, romance, and drama in perfect proportions, Abhimanyu’s upcoming film aims to establish the actor as the ‘Ideal massy hero ‘!

The motion poster of ‘Nikamma’ has Abhimanyu giving a brief insight into his character.

Sharing the poster, Abhimanyu said, “Ab meri bari. #NikammaTrailer Out on 17th May”.

Making an unconventional debut with Vasan Bala’s ‘Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota’, Abhimanyu has been trying out interesting characters.

Last seen in Karan Johar’s ‘Meenakshi Sundareshwar’, Abhimanyu portrayed a simple and lovable character in his digital debut.

After donning a romantic avatar in earlier projects, Abhimanyu Dassani is now looking to connect with the mass audiences through his energetic performance in ‘Nikamma’.

Co-starring Shirley Sethia and Shilpa Shetty, ‘Nikamma’ is directed by Sabbir Khan and produced by Sony Pictures International Productions.

Two top heroines are being considered for Prabhas’ upcoming film ‘Spirit’

Hyderabad, May 13 Prabhas, who recently appeared in ‘Radhe Shyam’ alongside Pooja Hegde, is now busily shooting for his next movie ‘Project K’ under Nag Ashwin’s direction.

Prabhas will next star in a movie titled ‘Spirit’, which will be directed by ‘Arjun Reddy’ fame Sandeep Reddy Vanga.

Apparently, either Rashmika Mandanna or Kiara Advani will be paired with Prabhas in his upcoming thriller drama, ‘Spirit’.

It is reported that Sandeep feels either Rashmika or Kiara will best suit Prabhas in the film and he will be locking one of them for the film soon.

Notably, Sandeep is already collaborating with Rashmika for Ranbir Kapoor’s ‘Animal’.

Kiara, on the other hand, is to star opposite Ram Charan under Shankar Shanmugam’s direction.

‘Spirit’ will hit the floors once Prabhas wraps up his current commitments- ‘Project K’ and ‘Salaar’.

Mumbai, May 13 Actress Sunny Leone has turned 41 on Friday, and to treat herself and her fans she has joined hands with HeyHey, an online celeb-engagement platform, as a technology partner for her first-of-its-kind product combining NFTs, AI, fan verse, and more.

On her birthday, Sunny will launch the ‘I Dream of Sunny’ fan verse owned by Suncity media and Enterprises.

‘I Dream of Sunny’ is a never-seen-before product that combines NFTs, Artificial Intelligence (AI), fan verse, gaming, lucky draw, winning combination and other similar terms – all rolled into one and minted on the polygon network.

Talking about the new venture, Sunny said, “I wanted to mark my birthday by launching something which is unique and something which hasn’t been done before. There are four different NFT card variants in the categories which are Silver, Gold, Platinum, and Joker which assist in playing the game, and each card comes with bonus features, which will give access to Sunny directly.

They can be in the form of interaction with Sunny on Zoom, on Instagram Lives, shout-outs from the actress, an opportunity to have coffee, or even skydiving with her in Dubai.

Samuthirakani confirms directing Pawan Kalyan’s upcoming multi-starrer

Hyderabad, May 13 Samuthirakani, who plays one of the main characters in the recently released ‘Sarkaru Vaari Paata’, has revealed details about his upcoming project.

Samuthirakani confirmed in a recent candid interview that he will soon direct Pawan Kalyan.

“Fans will receive good news soon. As I am myself a fan of Pawan Kalyan, I will direct Pawan Kalyan keeping a fan’s point of view in consideration,” says Samuthirakani.

Pawan Kalyan will star in an intriguing remake of the Tamil film ‘Vinodhaya Sitham’, as previously reported.

The Telugu remake will be directed by actor Samuthirakani, who also directed the Tamil version.

In this much-anticipated remake, Pawan Kalyan and his nephew Sai Dharam Tej will star together.

Trivikram Srinivas is also expected to pen the screenplay. Featuring Samuthirakani, Thambi Ramaiah, and Munishkanth in the lead roles, the original movie ‘Vinodhaya Sitham’ was released last year.

The story revolves around a tragic car accident, in which a self-centered and dominating man dies, and on his request, he is given an additional 90 days to live so that he can make things right.

The Telugu remake of ‘Vinodhaya Sitham’ is expected to begin in July.

Thalapathy 66 is the working title of an upcoming Indian Tamil-Telugu languages drama film ,directed by Vamshi Paidipally who wrote the film with Hari and Ahishor Solomon. It is produced by Dil Raju and Sirish under Sri Venkateswara Creations. The film stars Vijay and Rashmika Mandanna, with Prakash Raj, R. Sarathkumar, Shaam, Yogi Babu, Prabhu, Jayasudha, Srikanth, Sangeetha Krish and Samyuktha Shan in supporting roles.Cinematography Kharthik Palani, edited by Edited by Praveen K. L., Music by S. Principal photography began in April 2022 in Chennai. The film is planned to release in theatres in January 2023 on the occasion of Pongal, and SS Thaman will compose music for the film as he recently spoke about it.

“The only thing that sprang to mind after hearing the story of this film was that the director created the story and every scene with Thalapathy Vijay in mind. Because the actor Vijay is physically matched to the story. There are six songs in the film and few songs already composed. We are thinking to add one more song if necessary”.

AR Rahman sets the ball rolling for NEXA Music Season 2

Mumbai, May 12 The second season of NEXA Music, an initiative to provide aspiring Indian musicians a platform to create international quality English music, was announced on Thursday at Grammy and Oscar-winning composer A.R. Rahman’s studio in Mumbai, following the success of its first season which concluded in February 2020.

Like the previous season, a total of 24 contestants will be shortlisted by the jury comprising of Rahman, NEXA and Qyuki, from all the entries received.

AR Rahman sets the ball rolling for NEXA Music Season 2

Speaking on the occasion, Rahman said in a statement, “India is buzzing with youth, energy and undiscovered raw talent. I am happy to be part of NEXA Music in its Season 2 and look forward to finding unique voices and brilliant talent across the country. Qyuki and NEXA are building a much-needed tradition by fostering the next generation of Indian musicians.”

NEXA Music season 2 will have two segments � NEXA Music Lounge and NEXA Music Lab.

The music lab will provide mentorship to the selected 24 artistes under the guidance of Rahman, supported by music composer Mikey McCleary and celebrity artists duo Clinton Cerejo and Bianca Gomes (Shor Police), Uday Benegal, and Monica Dogra.

The original tracks of the shortlisted artistes will be professionally reproduced in a music video featuring the artiste. Out of the 24 artistes, the top 4 will be shortlisted and declared as the Super Winners of Season 2. These artistes will get to compose an additional new original English song under the mentorship of the music producer and will be featured in their respective music videos.

The NEXA Music Lounge will be headlined by top Indian artistes in the English music space and will see the super winners of Season 1 becoming contributors.

The album name of these marquee songs will be titled ‘Elevate’ which signifies the journey, an artiste goes through on NEXA Music, which elevates them to the next level creatively and literally.
