Vishwak Sen’s ‘AVAK’ out on OTT soon

 

Hyderabad, May 17 ‘Ashoka Vanamlo Arjuna Kalyanam’ starring Vishwak Sen and Rukshar Dhillon, was released in theatres on May 6. According to the latest information, this feel-good movie will soon begin streaming on Aha Video.

The tentative release date of ‘Ashoka Vanamlo Arjuna Kalyanam’ is July 27. Aha Video has acquired the film’s post-theatrical digital streaming rights, and it will be available three weeks after its theatrical release. Soon, Aha Video is expected to confirm the OTT release date as well.

‘Ashoka Vanamlo Arjuna Kalyanam’ is billed as a good drama, set in the countryside. Vishwak Sen and Rukshar Dhillon play the lead roles in the film, which is based on their marriage and the troubles surrounding their lives.

Hyderabad, May 17 Nag Ashwin, who is directing Prabhas in ‘Project K’ provides an exciting update on the film.

Nag Ashwin, the film’s director, who responded to one of Prabhas’ fans, revealed that the team of ‘Project K’ has just wrapped up a new schedule.

Nag Ashwin was reminded of Prabhas’ film by one of the tweeps. Nag Ashwin replied to his tweet with, “I do recall. We just finished putting together a schedule that included Prabhas’ intro shot. He appears to be very relaxed.”

“We’ll begin shooting again in June. Because our film will be released later, I believe there will be more time for frequent updates. But don’t worry, we’re putting a lot of effort into this project,” Nag Ashwin said.

Prabhas’ love interest in Project K is Deepika Padukone. Amitabh Bachchan and Disha Patani play important roles. Vyjayanthi Movies is bankrolling the movie, which is billed to be heavy on VFX. The music is composed by Mickey J Meyer.

Prabhas is currently filming his next ‘Salaar’ directed by Prashanth Neel of ‘KGF’ fame.

Mumbai, May 17 As it was Bollywood heartthrob Vicky Kaushal’s birthday, his ladylove and actress Katrina Kaif shared a loved-up post for her husband on social media.

Katrina took to Instagram, where she shared two pictures posing with Vicky from their holiday in New York. In the first image, he is seen hugging his beautiful wife, while in the second he’s seen lightly kissing her in a romantic manner.

Saurabh Prajapati thrilled with response for ‘Dhokebaaz’ track

Mumbai, May 17 Choreographer-director Saurabh Prajapati’s latest track ‘Dhokebaaz’ has been doing well. He has choreographed the song and worked with Vivek Oberoi and Tridha Choudhury on it.

The song has already reached 2.9 crore views and counting, and the team is in a celebratory mood.

“‘Dhokebaaz’ getting great response for its audio and video is a humbling feeling. In fact, in both, it has already crossed 2.9 crores in a very short time. I’m happy that people are enjoying the track, many have told us that they listen to this song on loop.”

“‘Dhokebaaz’ is a different kind of song, even the choreography is different too. We have kept much of classical dancing, lavni or Lavani, etc for which one has to be professionally trained. It’s not just any other casual Bollywood number,” he says.

Tridha is getting a lot of appreciation and has been presented really well. Sharing his experience of working with her, he says: “Tridha worked really hard for this one, although she didn’t get enough time for prep. But, she pulled it off well.”

“I worked with her for every single detail when it came to her performance because there was so much storytelling through facial expressions and dance moves in ‘Dhokebaaz’. All in all, it was a great experience working with her. She is a good dancer and grabs things in very less time.”

Saurabh is happy that apart from music lovers, even people in the industry have liked the song and appreciated his work.

“Everyone gave me positive feedback. When I showed this video to my two personal favorites, Remo D’Souza sir and Terence Lewis sir, who are always honest with me when it comes to art no matter what, they both loved it too,” he says.

He concludes: “I want to tell everyone out there thank you from the bottom of my heart. I also want to share that I am working on a new song where a lot of Indian dance forms will be showcased. This is going to be out soon.”

Kannada actress dies during fat removal surgery, parents allege negligence

Bengaluru, May 17 In a shocking development, a 21-year-old Kannada small screen actress died while undergoing fat removal surgery in Bengaluru on Tuesday.

According to the police, she was undergoing surgery without the knowledge of her parents.

Chetana Raj is the young actress who succumbed during surgery. The parents are now alleging negligence on part of the surgeons. They are also saying that the surgery was conducted without proper equipment.

Chetana Raj is a resident of Abbigere in Bengaluru. The hospital authorities are maintaining that the death occurred due to water getting deposited in her lungs during surgery.

Chethana Raj had acted in popular serials ‘Geetha’, ‘Doresaani’, ‘Olavina Nildana’. She had also acted in ‘Havayaami’, a Kannada movie.

Govinda Raj, father of Chetana Raj explained that his daughter was admitted to the hospital at 8.30 am on Monday. By the time they got to know about it, the surgery had already started.

By the evening, her lungs were filled with water or fat content and she had faced breathing problems. There were no proper facilities in the ICU, he said.

Chetana Raj had asked them for permission to undergo fat surgery but the family had told her not to undergo the surgery. She had undergone surgery without family members’ knowledge, he explained.

“My daughter died due to the negligence of the hospital. The doctors have conducted surgery without parental consent and without proper equipment,” he stated.

“My daughter was hale and hearty. She was absolutely fine. She had gone to hospital with her friends. Someone has suggested to her that she had more fat in the waist and without consulting any family member she had come for the surgery. “I will initiate legal action against hospital authorities,” he said.

Makers of Akhil’s ‘Agent’ clarify release on schedule

Hyderabad, May 17 Actor Akhil Akkineni will appear in the action-thriller ‘Agent’ which is being directed by Surender Reddy. To put an end to the rumors surrounding the movie, the makers have come up with an update.

“‘Agent’ schedule starting in Manali. A teaser update will be provided shortly. For updates, only follow verified Twitter handles. Please disregard all rumors,” tweeted Anil Sunkara, the movie’s producer.

Rumors have been circulating for the past few days that ‘Agent’ will not be released on August 12, as planned earlier. The makers, who are confident that the movie is currently going as per the schedule, are sure that they can manage to release the movie on time as promised.

Sakshi Vaidya, a newcomer, will play the leading lady opposite Akhil in the spy thriller. ‘Agent’ also has Malayalam superstar Mammootty, who will be seen in a key role.
