Nirav Modi is the man, who is a synonym for luxury jewellery from the past three years. Thanks to his diamonds business and exotic jewellery collections, he is featured among India’s richest from the past few years. It is no wonder that, almost every Bollywood star celebrity is a loyal customer of his brand. That includes even Priyanka Chopra, who is currently taking Hollywood by storm. The actress has been a brand ambassador for Nirav Modi’s collections in the past.

The government agencies have issued a lookout notice. In fact, Nirav Modi left the country on January 1st itself. Close sources claimed that ‘Nirav was aware that a serious investigation team from PNB (Punjab National Bank) was looking into the PNB Mumbai branch records. As soon as he got the insider information, he left to Switzerland, along with his family’.

What’s more shocking is that Nirav Modi also shared his picture with PM Modi at the Davos summit.

The Enforcement Directorate attached 17 properties belonging to Nirav Modi. Additionally, the ED found diamonds, jewellery and gold worth Rs 5100 crores during the search operations. The Nirav Modi – Mumbai PNB fraud accounted for a total of Rs 11,800 according to CBI. The CBI has requested the Interpol to help in nabbing Nirav Modi, who is currently in New York.

Janasena Party Chief Pawan Kalyan recently has asked to submit the list of funds allocated and its utilization for Joint Fact-Finding Committee (JFC).  But the state government had washed off its hands by saying that it is the responsibility of the center to do the job and not in the interest of the state. While, the AP, BJP leaders had brushed the topic aside and questioned Pawan Kalyan’s authenticity in asking for the fund’s list towards the state.

The first meeting of JFC already gained enough prominence, and the banter comment ‘Pawan Manode’ made by CBN has sent wrong indications. During the co-ordination committee meeting, TDP head made it clear that he doesn’t find anything wrong about Pawan Kalyan’s JFC. But he said he is concerned with the invitations sent to Congress party which is responsible for bifurcation.

Apparently, Pawan Kalyan retaliated strongly to the objections raised by the Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu. He said the JFC had sent invitations to all that includes congress only to know their opinion and not to hug them. For that matter, even TDP and YCP were invited but they are reluctant. Pawan Kalyan also shared, that he is doing what he could, keeping the best interest of the state. JFC is trying to bring all intellectuals to one platform. Just like the state governments response, even center asked JFC to go and check the figures on the website.

The Jansena Chief Pawan Kalyan has arranged an official press meet today on behalf of his newly found Fact-Finding Committee. Guess what, the Opposition party of AP, YSRCP has come indirectly conveyed its stand regarding this committee. Let us dwell on the details to find out more about this issue.

Aspiring leader Pawan Kalyan along with his good friends and members of his committee JFC participated in a special press meet today. In the prime hotel of Daspalla, Pawan along with JP, Undavalli and other Congress senior leaders have revealed their action plan to counter Centre regarding AP bifurcation promises. After the speech, Pawan interacted with the press to answer some questions. As there is no one to represent YSRCP in this meet, a reporter asked if he sent an invitation to its president Y.S Jagan. Pawan responded that he did send invitations to both TDP and YSRCP to participate in this committee but there is no response from both the parties which are presented in the AP Assembly. However, Pawan declared that he will not stop his fighting despite the support of YSRCP and TDP from here on.

Political analysts feel that Jagan has wasted a golden opportunity to win the trust of AP people by ignoring this committee. Some say that Jagan who thinks Pawan is the sole reason for his defeat in 2014 elections is not in a mood to join hands with JFC. Instead, he thinks that he can win this time by forming an alliance with the BJP against TDP and Janasena. Let us wait and see how Jagan and his party members will respond to today’s meet of FFC. For now, people are getting impressed with Pawan’s apolitical fight by joining hands with trustworthy senior politicians.

The Chief Minister of AP has finally opened his tight-lipped mouth on his longtime partner Pawan Kalyan. But this time, he has made some negative comments for the first time in his friendship with Janasena post-2014 elections.

The TDP Supreme CBN has joined hands with Pawan Kalyan during the election campaign in 2014. Since then, he used to treat Pawan as a close friend with higher respect. He always gives appointment whenever the Janasena President asks and often gives him VVIP category in Secretariat as well. There were times when Pawan started questioning both TDP and its alliance BJP in the past two years but CBN controlled his party leaders to stay in control. He strictly ordered his cadre not to utter anything against Pawan Kalyan. Such CBN has now spoken something negative against Pawan Kalyan.

In his recent party meeting, he has reportedly slammed Pawan’s invitation to Congress. CBN stated that he has no issues with establishing JFC and he merely welcomes it. But he hates the fact that Pawan has included CBN’s rival party Congress. He inturns questions Pawan about his sincerity for joining hands with Congress who is accused to in the bifurcation of AP while BJP stands at First. CBN claimed that he might not be worried if Pawan didn’t have included Congress in JFC. On the same note, the CM termed Pawan’s step as a bad move which he has to rectify in the near future.

Some supporters of JFC and followers of Janasena took CBN’s words seriously. They ask CBN if he has right to question Pawan’s credibly being in alliance with accused one BJP. Also, they ask CBN not to utter anything against their leader Pawan otherwise he might need to face some serious consequences. Political analysts opine that Pawan who is looking forward to withdrawing his support to TDP will permanently cut its bonding if CBN continues to irk him like this.

Supreme Court came down lashing at the Madhya Pradesh (MP) Government on Thursday. The apex court was upset on the way the MP government is handling the rape victims. It questioned, ‘You are just paying Rs 6500 for the rape victims. How fair is it? Are you running a charity house?’ said the apex court.

It has to be noted that, Madhya Pradesh is receiving the highest funds than any other state, under the Nirbhaya Fund. But shocking the MP government is only paying Rs 6000 to Rs 6500 for the rape victims. This drew the attention of the Supreme Court on the MP Govt. The bench comprising of Madhan B Lokur, Deepak Gupta differed with the affidavit filed by the MP Govt. in this context.

Reacting on this, the bend said, ‘there are 1951 rape cases registered in the MP alone. And how can you decide a compensation of Rs 6500 for each of the rape victim? Shockingly, how did you calculate that each rape draws a compensation of Rs 6500? This is absolutely ridiculous and irrational.

The Madhya Pradesh Govt. filed the affidavit, after the Supreme Court asked all the States and UTs to file affidavits regarding the Nirbhaya Nodal Funds that they received.

After the TDP carried the protests outside the parliament under Chandrababu’s able guidance, everyone thought that the Centre would succumb. But shockingly, the Centre’s recent move is giving Chandrababu nightmares. Prominent Kapu leader Mudragada Padmanabham became the centre of attraction, thanks to the Kapu Reservation Movement, which he led from the front. In order to counterattack Mudragada, who has been rising among other politicians, Chandrababu agreed to sanction 5% exclusive reservations to the Kapu community, joining them under the BC Category.

This move was greatly welcomed, and in fact, did affect the YSRCP. Looking at the pro-Kapu statements coming from Chandrababu, many Kapu leaders from YSRCP are making plans to leave the party when required. Surprisingly, most of them from the Kapu community forgot Mudragada and hailed Chandrababu for his decision. In this way, Chandrababu did counter both Mudragada and YSRCP.

Now, it is the turn of Centre. Given the protest over Center by the TDP, the Centre played its master card. It rejected the ‘Kapu Bill’ put forth by the AP Assembly. The Centre said, ‘according to the Supreme Court’s directives, the reservation cap for AP is already 50%. We cannot further increase it to accommodate the new proposal from the AP Govt.’

This marks the end of Chandrababu’s dream to woo the Kapu community and bank on their votes.

Talking at the committee meeting, Chandrababu Naidu reportedly said, ‘Pawan Kalyan’s approach and his fight for special status is completely justified. There is a lot of sense on what he is doing. We need to appreciate him for his fight in his own way, for the legitimate rights of the people of Andhra Pradesh. We need not really worry much about the Pawan Kalyan’s Joint Fact-Finding Committee.’

Just as you read this, Chandrababu Naidu has given Pawan Kalyan a counter. Pawan Kalyan tweeted that, he was not able to find the complete details of Polavaram Project, on the official website. Referring this, Chandrababu Naidu went on to say, ‘each and every detail of the project is on the website. There is nothing new that we had to state specifically’.

Meanwhile, TDP MLA Adinarayana Reddy stated that TDP MPs will resign on March 5th if the Center doesn’t fulfil its commitments towards Andhra Pradesh. He further criticized YS Jagan stating that ‘Jagan is a better businessman than a politician’.

Pawan Kalyan has formulated a Joint Facts Finding committee with intellectuals, retired bureaucrats, ministers, financial experts and several other scholars who have a very vast experience. Pawan had his talks earlier with Undavalli and J.P and today he has sought the support of Congress, CPI and CPM. As per the latest information, it is known that Pawan has called the A.P PCC Chief Raghuveera Reddy and invited him to extend his support for JFC. Raghuveera has responded positively on this and he will be meeting Pawan with other two members Rudraraju Padmaraju and Janga Goutham tomorrow.

Even the TDP supremo Chandrababu Naidu has applauded the efforts of Pawan Kalyan. He stated that Pawan is trying his level best to sort out the issues concerning to the state and the TDP has no problems regarding it. He also made it clear that TDP would also support the mission of Pawan and provide him the information what he wants. TDP, Congress, CPI, and CPM have extended their support for JFC except for the prime opposition party YSR Congress. Will Jagan extends his support to JFC or will he go in his own way? Pawan has formed a Joint Facts Finding committee post the Union Budget for addressing the issues and the injustice done to the state. As we all know, Pawan has interacted with ex-M.P Undavalli Arun Kumar the other day and demanded the state government as well as the central government to issue a white note on the funds allocated and spent, so that he will discuss and analyze with his experts in JFFC panel. RBI came forward and issued a statement that Indian financial system does not recognize or trade Cryptocurrency. Punjab National Bank discovered that a fraud of Rs 11,334 Crores took place in Mumbai PNB branch. In its Stock Exchange filings, the PNB stated it has discovered illegal and fraudulent transactions from the Mumbai branch. It further stated that, few account holders, along with bank officials are a part of the fraud. Subsequently, the fraudulent amount has been transferred to offshore accounts via other banks. The bank has already informed the government agencies regarding the fraud, and the authorities are investigating.

The bank officials are yet to confirm to what extent did the fraudulent transactions impact the bank’s revenue.

Additionally, the CBI confirmed that it received two complaints from the bank, stating that, it found suspicious transactions to the tune of Rs 10,000 crores from famous jewellery designer Nirav Modi and his companies.

In fact, the money involved in the fraud is 8 times that of the net earnings of PNB (Rs 1,324 crores) in 2017. This is the first time in the history of Republic India that a public sector bank like PNB has become a victim of fraudulent transactions.

Hundreds of people liked and re-tweeted the tweet in a short while. In fact, Kathi Mahesh was shot to fame, given his controversial remarks on Pawan Kalyan, at personal, professional and political level.

Post his row with Pawan Kalyan fans, Kathi Mahesh agreed to remain silent. But his tweets doesn’t seem so. His satirical tweet on Pawan Kalyan’s JAC and JFFC in particular, received severe outraged on social media.

It is an open fact that Kathi Mahesh has his own set of followers on social media. Similarly, many who have supported him during his war with Pawan Kalyan fans, are slowly distancing themselves from him.

In a recent event, a middle-aged man was found masturbating while sitting next to a Delhi University Student in a crowded bus. Apparently, he is also made an attempt to molest her. ‘The seat started shaking while I was reading a book on my way to my home in the orange cluster bus. Immediately, I realized that he is masturbating. He even tried to touch my waist with his elbow repeatedly. I recorded the act, before I reacted,’ told the victim.

Now, to everyone’s shock, Taslima Nasreen retorted on the happening. She said ‘A man masturbating in a crowded Delhi bus need not be considered as a big crime in this era of rape culture. Men should masturbate, then rape and murder. Is masturbating in public a crime? Well, it is victim-less crime’.

There are big hue and cry from netizens to the version of the author.  Most of them lectured that the victims won’t have any control over what they are forced to see. They questioned her, ‘Is this acceptable if somebody is sexually pleasuring themselves in front of a woman without her consent?  In fact, these kind of incidents are more dangerous for the safety of children who often pay visits to public places. Mudragada who has fought for the Kapu reservation before has now dug into the fight on A.P CM by claiming not to make Janasena Chief Pawan Kalyan a victim in his play. Mudragada stated that neither he, Jagan nor Pawan can bring the special category status. It is the chief minister who has to fight for it. Andhra Pradesh women welfare minister Paritala Sunitha’s son Paritala Sriram has made the headlines today for misbehaving and assaulting a YSR Congress party activist Boya Suryam.

Getting into the details, Boya Suryam who works actively for YSR Congress in Venkatapuram of Anantapur district has allegedly reported on Sriram and other few to the district Superintendent of Police Ashok for assaulting him on 7th February. As stated by him, Suryam is a loyal YSRCP activist who works for the Thoduparthi Chandrasekhar Reddy. He made it clear that Sriram has intentionally attacked him as he is working loyally to the local leader Chandrasekhar Reddy.

As we all know, the Janasena Chief Pawan Kalyan has floated a Joint Facts Finding Committee and has been said he will be collaborating with the intellectuals and other party members to raise the voice of the people over the injustice done.

As he said, he started his first move by including the ex-member of the parliament Undavalli Arun Kumar and Lok Satta founder Jaya Prakash Narayan into JFC.  Later he had associated with both of them and has discussed regarding various issues of the state which includes SCS, the so-called package, and the Union Budget. Post the meeting with Undavalli, Pawan has claimed that till date the govt. has neither given him the white note nor mentioned the details regarding the allocation of funds on Polavaram. This has been discussed in the TDP core committee meeting just a while back.

CBN has responded in a strange manner over the comments made by the Janasena Chief. CBN has adviced Pawan to focus his fact-finding committee on the funds which have to be given by the central govt. to the state over the past 4 years rather than focusing on how it has been spending by the state government. He also made it clear that central government will be anyways monitoring on the funds spent by the state.

Does this really mean like no one has the right to ask the government to issue a white note on the funds spent? The people of Andhra are in deep pain regarding the injustice done to them. When there is a lot of confusion among the political parties regarding how much it has been allocated by the center and how much has been spent by the state, it is the right of every citizen of the state to know the complete details with evidence.

It is the duty and responsibility of the state government to let the people know in detail regarding what the center has given and how much the state has spent.

politician and actor Vijaykanth predicted that Rajinikanth and Kamal Hassan will surely fail in politics. The senior politician who entered much prior to Rajini and Kamal and started ‘Desiya Murpokku Dravida Kazhagam’ shocked one and all with his statements on these star heroes.

There was indeed a political vacuum, after the demise of Former Chief Minister Jayalalithaa. To fill in this emptiness both the actors have jumped into politics. They both are still to make official announcements of their party names, but the work has been started already. It is a shocker to Tamilians that they made an entry only after ‘Amma’s’ demise and have been active participants in politics. Critics say that actors like Vijaykanth and Sarath Kumar are brave enough to have entered politics when the ‘Iron Lady’ was alive. Both the heroes even took the attack to Jayalalithaa.

Now, actor Vijaykanth’s main point draws us all in the same lines, questioning the courage of Rajini and Kamal. He was also harsh when he said, “Maybe they are my seniors in the film industry but they are my political juniors”. He concluded saying they both will miserably fail in politics.

If there is one India batsman who is delighted more than anyone last evening in South Africa, it is Rohit Sharma. After a poor show in the test series, and in the last 4 ODIs, Rohit has become the target of Twitter trolls and hard editorials. Many people questioned his ability to score quick runs on overseas pitches; that is fast, bouncy and have some movement for the quickies. By scoring a century, he not answered his bullies, but also came up with a series-winning knock. After being put into bat, India scored 274 for 5 in their 50 overs. Despite having a great start, the middle order once again failed to keep up with the tempo and failed when tried to increase the scoring rate.

South Africa had a good start with the 50-run opening stand between Markram and Amla. In a span of 19 balls, South Africa lost 3 wickets (Markram, JP Duminy, and AB de Villiers) for just 13 balls.

DA Miller and Amla steadied the ship for a while. Things looked even between both the team when SA was at 127 for 3 in 27th over. From there, the Proteas lost wickets at regular intervals. In the 42nd over bowled by Kuldeep, the wrist spinner took 3 wickets, including Klaasen, as the 8th wicket, bringing South Africa hopes to an end. South Africa was all-out for 201 runs in 42.2 overs.

India won the Momentum ODI Series with 4-1, with last ODI to be played on February 16th. This is the first series win for India across all formats in South Africa.

YS Jagan is currently on the 86th day of his ‘Praja Sankalpa Yatra’. Speaking at Kaligiri Mandal (Nellore District), he announced that his party MPs would resign if the Central Government does not grant Special Status to Andhra Pradesh. After the Union Budget has been presented to the Parliament, the political leaders from the state, irrespective of the party, came down hard at the Centre. They alleged that the Centre had shown prejudice while allocating funds to AP in the budget.

That is when AP CM Chandrababu Naidu took the whole scenario to the next level. He made sure, the TDP MPs carry out protests outside the parliament. Even then, one question was on everyone’s mind. Why aren’t the TDP MPs resigning? No one had answers to this. In fact, this is something that could prove costly for TDP in the coming elections.

Meanwhile, Jagan stated that YSRCP MPs would stage protests near Jantar Mantar until April 6th. ‘If the Centre doesn’t announce Special Status to AP by April 6th, our MPs will resign’, he said.

Political analysts feel that this is yet another strategy by YS Jagan. With Centre pushing for early polls, probably by 2018-end, the resignation shouldn’t really bother the MPs.
