S.S. Rajamouli Unveils Official Announcement for ‘Made in India:
Indian cinema, with a history spanning over a century, is a source of pride for those in the film industry. Significant advancements have occurred in the technical aspects of filmmaking. The inaugural Indian film, “Raja Harishchandra” (1918), directed by Dadasaheb Phalke, is celebrated as the foundation of Indian cinema. Dadasaheb Phalke is often referred to as the father of Indian cinema, and in his honor, the Government of India established the Dadasaheb Phalke Award, recognizing lifetime achievement among technicians.
Now, Indian audiences are set to witness a biopic about the father of Indian cinema, a significant figure in the industry’s history. The biopic, titled “Made In India,” was officially announced on social media. Filmmaker S.S. Rajamouli is presenting the film, which is produced by S.S. Karthikeya and Varun Gupta. Rajamouli expressed his pride in presenting a compelling biopic about the father of Indian cinema.
Directed by Nithin Kakkar, “Made In India” is a pan-Indian film scheduled for release in multiple languages, including Telugu, Marathi, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada.
