Rajinikanth following Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao

NT Rama Rao is known for his legendary mythological characters on the silver screen. In one of his movies, NTR reprises the Arjuna’s character on the screen. Before the beginning of the Kurukshetra war, Arjuna approaches Kaurava clan to seek the blessings of Chiefs and Gurus. Even Rajinikanth, who announced his political entry few days’ back is following the same trend.
The Tamil Superstar paid his visit to former CM and DMK President Karunanidhi. Rajinikanth enquired about his health, and also wished him new year greetings. Interestingly, Rajinikanth also took blessings from Karunanidhi for his political journey. All this while, Karunanidhi’s son, and current DMK President Stalin was accompanying Rajinikanth.
As soon as Rajinikanth left the premises, Stalin called for a press meet. ‘It is really unfortunate to see someone working towards Spiritual politics, leaving aside Dravidian Ideologies. I’m against such people coming to seek blessings from a leader like Karunanidhi’, said Stalin in the press meet.
It is evident from Stalin’s speech that, even DMK feel that BJP is behind Rajinikanth’s political entry. Initially, everyone felt that Rajinikanth will be targeted on the lines of ‘non-Tamilian’ stand. But, as soon as Rajinikanth spoke about ‘Spiritual politics’, the whole attention was diverted towards BJP.
