Superstar Rajinikanth’s highly anticipated sequel Jailer 2 is gearing up for its theatrical release in two weeks, and the film has already started generating excitement in the overseas market. Although some movie enthusiasts felt that the sequel’s pre-release buzz was comparatively lower than that of the first installment, the latest advance booking figures suggest that Rajinikanth’s massive popularity continues to draw audiences.
According to trade reports, Jailer 2 has collected around $165,000 from premiere show bookings in the USA within just two days of ticket sales opening. The Telugu version is also witnessing a promising response from moviegoers, adding to the film’s overseas prospects.
The upcoming trailer is expected to play a crucial role in building further momentum ahead of the release.
