She is famous as a drama queen and has a reputation to utilize every opportunity to hog the limelight and never lets anything go waste. Once she called the Prime Minister as her dream man and even wore an outfit picturing Narendra Modi printed on it. Now, referring Modi as her father, she introduces her NRI groom to NaMo as his ‘Damaad’ (Son- in- law).
Answering a question as who is going to be her life partner, she comes with a reply through her Instagram video, where she said, “I found my groom and he is from New York”, she further adds, “Hi all Indians, Including my Prime Minister Modi, are you watching me now Modi Ji, Apne Damaad se mil lo ji” (Meet your Son-in-law)’’.
A TV channel, in 2009 organized a program called “Swayamwar” and Rakhi Sawant took part in it and even got engaged to the winner of the show, Elesh Paunjanwala. In a span of few months, she called off the marriage and said it was done only to buy a flat with the money she earned by doing the show.
Now she recently announced, she is playing the role of Honeypreet Insan in the biopic of self- styled godman Gurmeet Ram Rahim who was convicted of raping sadhvis. Anyways let’s wait and watch, whether this time, her marriage is for real or reel? Its Rakhi the other side, anything is possible.
