Total Corona positive Cases in Andhra Pradesh

Andhra Pradesh has reported 12 new Corona virus cases since last night and this has made the toll touch 432. Once again it’s Guntur district which reported maximum cases with 8 while total tally in the district is 90. Two cases from Chittoor and one case each from Krishna and West Godavari have been reported.

Kurnool is the next district with maximum cases with 84 while Anantapur district is the least effected with 15 cases. Among the 432, 12 people got cured and discharged while seven people have died.

Also in the 432 Corona positive cases, 413 are getting treated at respective isolation wards in hospitals across the state.

Lockdown Extension in Telangana confirmed By CM KCR

Telangana CM KCR says it is inevitable to extend the lockdown to contain the virus spread in the state. Telangana lockdown will be extended up to April 30 for the whole state and KCR said he conveyed the cabinet demand to the center regarding the same. KCR in a relieving word said the Lockdown will be eased phase-wise in the state after April 30.

Revealing about coronavirus cases in Telangana state, CM KCR says the coronavirus infected from the first phase quarantine are all discharged. Coming to the latest tally, Telangana state has a total of 503 positive cases, in which 14 died and 96 discharged including the foreign returned and foreigners. With a total of active 393 cases and 1654 quarantined, KCR expressed confidence in clearing all the coronavirus cases in the state by April 24, given no new cases arise meanwhile.

KCR spoke about 243 containment areas in Telangana, with 123 in GHMC alone. The government is delivering the stuff needed to the doors in the containment areas.

Speaking about schools, KCR said the government will think of 10 class examinations after the lockdown ends but will be auto-promoting 1 to 9th class students without any examinations for this academic year.

KCR reveals his talks with PM Narendra Modi to bring on the Quantitative Easing process known as QE that pumps a percentage of GDP of the whole nation to support the people during calamities. Like the US government released 2 Trillion dollars as stimulus fund, a 10 percent of total GDP of the nation and UK has done 15 percent in the same process, KCR says he proposed it to the center.

India has no other option except to bring QE funds from reserve bank at this financial crisis times. India’s GDP is 203 lakh crores and would be 10 lakh crores if 5 percent is considered as QE. It is intended to help mainly but not limited to industrial workers, informal businesses, people with no ration cards, meet farmers’ demands. This money supplied by RBI is called helicopter money and the decision is upon PM Narendra Modi.

While answering other questions, KCR warned of severe consequences against the adulteration of foods and oils in any part of the state.

In a bid to make sure that magnum opus movie RRR will not miss out the January 8, 2021 release date, director SS Rajamouli is making sure that the film’s post-production works will be completed in this lockdown times. And we hear that the team is sitting on work every day to get the maximum output.

Reportedly, RRR team is said to have undertaken the dubbing work from the houses of its two biggest stars, Jr NTR and Ram Charan. To get this work going, one needs a soundproof room and also a high-quality sound recording mic such that they will get perfect voice without any disturbance, noise and other interferences.

We are hearing that Rajamouli has already sent two quality mics to the houses of these actors and they are said to be sitting inside the mini-theatres they have at home, which have soundproof walls, to finish the dubbing work. Every day Rajamouli, his associates and writer Karky are also supervising the dubbing version of Telugu and Tamil, we hear.

Well, if all filmmakers do make use of lockdown times this way, surely they need not wait for many months after the lockdown is lifted, to release their films in theatres.

This amount is the second-highest amount announced by the southern stars towards fighting the pandemic. Earlier Prabhas donated Rs 4 crore which is the highest amount from the south. Akshay Kumar tops the list with a huge donation of Rs 25 crores.

KCR wants the lockdown to be extended till April 30th

Other day, when PM Narendra Modi held meeting with the parliamentary leaders of various regional parties, it’s heard that the two Telugu Chief Ministers have expressed different opinions regarding the lockdown. While KCR is said to have proposed a complete lockdown till April 30 in the least, YS Jagan is said to have given another opinion.

Apparently Telangana Chief Minister KCR is worried about the growing number of cases and has already set up hotspots in Hyderabad and other districts of Telangana where they will be completely seized of movement, and barricades will be put in place to make sure that none comes out and goes in.

Despite such measures, KCR wants the lockdown to be extended till April 30th in the minimum and lockdown with a bit of relaxation till June 1st week, such that things will be under control.

Expressing their opinion on the same, YS Jagan‘s emissary MP Vijaysai Reddy is said to have asked the Prime Minister to consider opening up lock down in areas where there is no corona scare. The YSRC MP is said to have suggested that lockdown be implemented only in hotspots and leave other areas scout free.

Jagan’s thought is that Andhra Pradesh is already in deficit since bifurcation and losing almost Rs 165+ crores every day, and lockdown will further push the state into debts. As AP already borrowed Rs 1000 Cr from Reserve Bank through Central Govt has given Rs 3000 Cr fund, CM Jagan feels that the situation will not turn worse only if lockdown is lifted.

We have to see if PM Modi will consider the requests of CM KCR Or Jagan, or both.

Positive cases of COVID-19 In Hyderabad

There were 453 total cases of Coronavirus infected in Telangana by Yesterday and now with 18 new cases today, the number reached 471.

In more than 665 samples tested today, there are 18 new positive cases of COVID-19 and one death reported. There are 414 active cases in all, with 12 deaths and 45 recovered patients.

Telangana Government has been implementing strenuous measures right from the beginning of this crisis and now with the growing numbers, there are 15 containment cluster zones announced which will be having no entry or exit for anyone until further notice.

There are 6516 total coronavirus confirmed cases in India while 5726 cases are active and 594 of them recovered completely. 196 people died due to Coronavirus so far in India.

Railways and APSRTC has halted the bookings till April 30th

The other day, Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC) has decided to open the online ticket bookings for Super Luxury and Delux bus services from April 15th. On 5th of April, APSRTC has allowed the travelers to book their tickets but on Thursday, APSRTC has completely stopped accepting bookings.

Reports from the media are making waves that the lockdown might be extended by the Centre and keeping this mind, the higher officials of APSRTC gave a second thought about opening the bookings. But from April 5th, about 45,000 tickets have been booked and the RTC officials are considering to make refund to the people who have booked tickets.

Also with Telangana CM KCR categorically saying that the state would extend the lockdown, APSRTC has halted the booking services to Hyderabad city as well.

PM Modi will be holding a video conference with CMs of all the states tomorrow and then a proper decision on lockdown extension would come out. This would make things clear for APSRTC. Already Railways has halted the bookings till April 30th, so it most likely that RTC will follow.

Former India cricketer Madan Lal believes the 13th edition of the IPL 2020 should not be conducted behind closed doors. The fate of the cash-rich league hangs by a thin thread due to the coronavirus pandemic that has taken the world by storm.

IPL 2020 was initially scheduled to start from March 29 but it could not go as planned due to the Covid-19 outbreak. The tournament has been deferred until at least April 15 but the chances of holding the League on that date also look bleak due to the rising number of coronavirus cases in the country. 

“IPL is a big brand. But the board can only take a decision once the situation improves and coronavirus is gone. At the moment, it’s on upstage. So, no one is going to take a risk,” Madan Lal told IANS.

“There’s no point in playing IPL matches in front of empty stands. It’s not just about the players and the fans, it’s about other people who are also involved in the process while travelling, organising, broadcasting, etc,” the 1983 World Cup-winning team member said.

“Once situation improves, other series will also take place and BCCI can totally recover for the lost time.”

Earlier, former IPL chairman Rajeev Shukla had also said that it was impossible to start the 13th edition of the IPL after April 15.

So people who mostly do IPL Betting for this is bad news.

Recently dusky siren Trisha who is quite excited about making her comeback into Telugu movies with Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Acharya, has announced that she is leaving the film. She has tweeted the role that is promised to her is different from the one she’s going to do now, and hence she took the exit route.

Though none of the team members has spoken about it till now, Megastar Chiranjeevi has clarified about it in his recently interview to an English Daily. “I don’t know why Trisha said it that way, but there is no truth in it. Even my daughter Sushmita has designed dresses for her and they did trials too. But recently she signed Maniratnam’s movie and as she couldn’t accommodate dates to that film by doing Acharya, she has exited our film” he said.

While Chiru hasn’t clarified that the arrival of Kajal Aggarwal, it’s confirmed that she is aboard and will start taking part in the shoot after the lockdown gets lifted. Meanwhile, after listening to Chiru, one will wonder if Trisha lied about her exit because there is no reason that Megastasr will lie about such trivial things.

The milestones being touched by the COVID-19 positive cases being registered in India are actually painting a gloomy picture. Today, if we look at the numbers, Maharashtra has 1018 cases and both Delhi, Kerala has 576 and 336 cases respectively, as India headed into the 5000 clubs with 5351 cases (4,789 being the officially announced figure).

There are 4739 active cases in them while 455 recovered from the virus infection and 157 died due to it. Maharashtra has seen 150 new cases today with 888 total number of active cases from 1018 confirmed total cases and Tamil Nadu has 69 new cases with 644 active cases from 690 total cases.

Andhra Pradesh has less number of new cases today, 11 with a total number of 314 cases and 3 deaths. The number of coronavirus cases in Telangana is not slowing down as the state has more than 40 new cases today making it a total of 404.

Right now, more and more testing is being done everywhere which is projecting that the cases will be doubled very soon. On that note, many asymptomatic and fresh cases might be caused by community spreading will be out.

Right now, India is under the 21-day lockdown since March 25 and many states have proposed the lockdown be extended for a couple of months more. Going by the numbers, it looks like Centre will also favor the extension of lockdown only.

Baby Boy Died Due to Coronavirus

On April 5, a 14-month-old baby boy was tested positive for coronavirus in Gujarat’s Jamnagar district. Unfortunately, the baby died on 7 April evening after suffering from multiple organ failure. Moreover, the baby and his parents who are a migrant labourer-couple have no traveling history.

The health official release read that the baby boy died at a government hospital in Jamnagar. Ever since he was admitted in the hospital, the boy’s condition was extremely critical and lived on ventilator support for two days.

Eventually, the 14-month-old died due to multiple organ failure and becomes the youngest patient to succumb to COVID-19 in Gujarat. With this case, the death toll has risen to 16 in the state.

It is said that the authorities had tried tracing the source of his infection but failed. His parents are from Uttar Pradesh who work as labourers in factories. Currently, Gujarat has 175 positive coronavirus cases.
