Story

In the village of Padathi, age-old customs dominate every woman’s life. Performances

Anupama Parameswaran delivers a grounded performance as Subbu. After Tillu Square, she embraces a traditional role and convincingly portrays the conflict between fear, faith, and the longing for liberation.

Darshana Rajendran, making her Telugu debut, leaves an impression with her bold, witty, and vibrant performance. Her chemistry with Anupama adds depth, and her comic timing provides light moments.

In 2006, director AR Murugadoss teamed up with Tollywood Megastar Chiranjeevi for the action-drama Stalin. Though the film had an average run at the box office back then, it has since earned cult status among fans. Now, nearly two decades later, Stalin is making a grand comeback to theatres in 4K with enhanced sound and visuals.

The re-release is set for a special occasion — Chiranjeevi’s birthday on August 22, 2025. Adding to the celebrations, audiences watching Stalin in theatres will also get to witness Global Star Ram Charan’s Peddi glimpse on the big screen.

But the surprises don’t stop there. Mega fans are in for a triple treat — along with Stalin, they’ll also enjoy Pawan Kalyan’s “Fire Storm” song from They Call Him OG and an exclusive glimpse of Ustaad Bhagat Singh.

The 18-day-long strike by the Employees’ Federation has officially come to an end today, following the intervention of Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and the proactive steps taken by the state government. With productive discussions between producers and the Employees’ Federation, an agreement has finally been reached, and film shootings will resume from tomorrow.

Ace producer Dil Raju expressed his gratitude to the honorable Chief Minister for swiftly resolving the deadlock. He also thanked the Producers’ Council and the Employees’ Federation for their cooperation, while acknowledging Gangadhar and the labor officials for successfully concluding the talks. Dil Raju further appreciated CM Revanth Reddy’s vision of transforming Hyderabad into a major film hub.

As per the resolution, cine workers will receive a 22.5% overall wage hike, distributed in three phases: 15% in the first year, 2.5% in the second year, and 5% in the third year. The increment will vary based on pay categories, ensuring fair adjustments.

In addition, several of the workers’ other demands have been accepted. For the remaining conditions, a committee under the Principal Secretary will be formed, tasked with submitting a detailed report within a month.

Employees’ Federation President Anil Vallabhaneni thanked the government, the labor department, and particularly the Labor Commissioner, for their decisive role in restoring normalcy. He noted that while the union usually addresses such matters internally, in this instance, government intervention proved vital in achieving a resolution.
