BJP, Jana Sena and TDP Public Meeting on March 17

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Telugu Desam Party (TDP) president N. Chandrababu Naidu, and Jana Sena leader and actor Pawan Kalyan are set to share a stage after a decade. This momentous occasion will take place at a public meeting in Chilakaluripet on March 17, marking the launch of the National Democratic Alliance’s (NDA) campaign for the upcoming elections in Andhra Pradesh.

The public meeting in Chilakaluripet, located in Palnadu district, holds significant importance as it signifies the first joint appearance of the three parties since forming an electoral alliance. Notably, Naidu had not shared a public platform with PM Modi since the TDP’s departure from the BJP-led NDA coalition in 2018. However, this event marks a significant departure from that trend, signaling a new phase of cooperation among the parties.

The upcoming gathering will also mark the first time in a decade that Modi, Naidu, and Pawan Kalyan will address a public meeting together. Their last joint campaign efforts date back to 2014. While Jana Sena did not contest elections at that time, Pawan Kalyan actively campaigned for the TDP-BJP alliance. Now, with the TDP, BJP, and Jana Sena Party (JSP) joining forces, the March 17 event aims to kick off their joint campaign on a grand scale.

Efforts are underway to ensure the success of the March 17 public meeting, with the TDP, BJP, and JSP collaborating to make it a significant event in launching their collective campaign. The rally serves as a platform for the leaders to address the electorate, presenting a unified front and articulating their vision for the state’s future.

SpaceX made headlines on Monday with the successful launch of 46 Starlink internet satellites, setting a new record for efficiency in low-Earth orbit deployment. The impressive feat saw two sets of satellites launched within a span of just six hours.

The launches took place from Space Launch Complex 40 (SLC-40) at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida, showcasing the capabilities of SpaceX’s reusable Falcon 9 rocket. The first batch of 23 satellites took off at 4:35 am India time, marking another milestone for the company’s Falcon 9 booster, which completed its 11th flight.

Following liftoff, the Falcon 9’s first stage completed a flawless vertical landing on the SpaceX drone ship “Just Read the Instructions” in the Atlantic Ocean. An hour later, SpaceX confirmed the successful deployment of the initial 23 Starlink satellites.

The second launch, comprising another 23 Starlink satellites, occurred at 9:39 am India time. This marked the 17th flight for the first stage booster, further demonstrating SpaceX’s commitment to reusability in space missions.

With over 5,000 operational Starlink satellites already in orbit and approval for up to 12,000, SpaceX continues to expand its global internet coverage. Last week’s launch adds to the company’s ambitious plans for the Starlink constellation, aimed at providing high-speed internet access worldwide.

These achievements contribute to SpaceX’s prolific launch schedule, with 22 orbital missions completed this year alone. Looking ahead, the company aims for 144 launches in 2024, underscoring its position as a leader in the space industry.

TDP Nara Lokesh Accuses CM Jagan of Apprehension Amid Alliance Formation

Telugu Desam Party’s Nara Lokesh stated that Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is feeling uneasy after TDP, Jana Sena Party, and BJP joined forces for the upcoming elections.

Lokesh highlighted that during TDP and BJP’s government in 2014, there were no attacks on Muslims, emphasizing their focus on minority welfare through initiatives like providing gifts during Ramzan and supporting mosque painting.

He expressed concern over increased attacks on minorities under Jagan Reddy’s rule, citing specific incidents like the suicides of Abdul Salam’s family and a girl named Misbhah, as well as the alleged killing of a minority leader named Ibrahim.

Encouraging minorities not to trust Jagan Mohan Reddy, Lokesh mentioned TDP’s representation of minority members in the Rajya Sabha and criticized Jagan Reddy for allegedly misleading people with his Siddham meetings.

In response, Jagan Mohan Reddy stated his readiness to combat the alliance, asserting YSRCP’s support for the weaker sections ahead of the simultaneous Lok Sabha and assembly polls in Andhra Pradesh.
