Launching the BJP’s ‘Jan Ashirwad Yatra,’ a large-scale mass-contact program, in Madhya Pradesh’s Mahakaushal region starting from Mandla, Shah stated that the campaign aims to seek the blessings of the people for the government’s development efforts in the state in preparation for the upcoming assembly polls.

Five such yatras, or journeys, were initiated from five different locations in the state in anticipation of the November assembly elections. All five yatras will conclude in Bhopal on September 25, where Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to address party workers.

Amit Shah emphasized that the ‘Jan Ashirwad Yatra’ would serve as the foundation for the BJP to secure over 150 out of the total 230 assembly seats in the state.

He mentioned that Madhya Pradesh had historically been considered a ‘BIMARU’ (laggard) state due to the previous Congress regime. However, the BJP, particularly under the leadership of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, has transformed the state into an ‘unmatched’ one over the past four decades, Shah added. He commended Chouhan for his efforts in tribal development and cited Madhya Pradesh as the first state to implement the Panchayats Extension to Scheduled Areas (PESA) Act in 1996.

Amit Shah criticized Congress veterans Digvijay Singh and Kamal Nath, accusing them of neglecting the state when they held the position of Chief Minister in Madhya Pradesh. He highlighted the discontinuation of 53 Central welfare schemes during Kamal Nath’s tenure in 2018.

Shah also criticized the Congress for its minority appeasement policy, noting the change in approach since Narendra Modi became Prime Minister in 2014. He emphasized the Modi government’s focus on the welfare of tribals, Dalits, the poor, and backward classes who have rights to the country’s natural resources.

In a 21-day study, tumors treated with this new therapy displayed no increase in size, whereas untreated tumors tripled in size during the same period, according to findings published in the journal Oncogene.

Lead author Andrea Kasinski, an Associate Professor of biological sciences at Purdue University, described the therapy as a combination of a delivery system that homes in on cancer cells and a modified version of microRNA-34a, a molecule likened to the brakes in a car that can slow down or halt cell division.

The targeted microRNA-34a exhibited robust suppression of the activity of at least three genes—MET, CD44, and AXL—which are known drivers of cancer and contributors to resistance against other cancer treatments. This sustained suppression lasted for a minimum of 120 hours.

The results suggest that this therapy may be effective on its own and in conjunction with existing drugs, particularly in cases where cancer has developed resistance to conventional treatments.

The train tragedy occurred on June 2 and resulted in the loss of 296 lives. These unidentified bodies have been preserved in a specialized deep freezer chamber at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Bhubaneswar.

According to AIIMS authorities, there were a total of 81 bodies and 110 claimants. After conducting necessary DNA tests to match identities, 53 bodies were successfully handed over to their respective families. However, it has been surprising that, in the past 10 days, no individuals have come forward to claim the remaining 28 bodies. Dilip Parida, the superintendent of AIIMS Bhubaneswar, explained that they are currently awaiting instructions from the Ministry of Railways and the Odisha government in this matter.

As the case is under investigation by the CBI, the agency is the custodian of the bodies, and AIIMS has only been responsible for preserving them. Parida noted that they will act according to the instructions received and hand over the bodies to the CBI. It is unlikely that any claimants will come forward, given the lack of response in the past 10 days. All the bodies have been stored in a deep freezer, preventing the natural decomposition process.

The ‘Love Unfiltered’ study conducted by the dating app Bumble in Mumbai found that 52 percent of respondents value transparency in intentions, 21 percent consider political alignment important, and 19 percent seek LGBTQAI+ allyship in their partners.

Compatibility checks were important for 33 percent of respondents, 31 percent embraced dating trends, and 27 percent expected potential partners to have a significant social media presence. Balancing careers and relationships was a challenge faced by 50 percent of Gen Z, with commitment issues at 37 percent, difficulty in finding compatible partners at 49 percent, matching sexual preferences at 38 percent, and coping with rejections at 29 percent. The report highlights that Gen Z is willing to wait for partners who share their values and beliefs.

Approximately 51 percent of Indian Gen Z individuals are seeking partners for personal growth, 29 percent don’t feel pressured to marry on a predetermined timeline, and 19 percent are open to non-traditional relationships. Moreover, 46 percent of women are unwilling to tolerate toxic behavior, while 55.5 percent emphasize setting emotional and physical boundaries when seeking a partner.

According to Samarpita Samaddar, India communications director at Bumble, Gen Z is rewriting dating rules by expressing their beliefs, challenging traditional norms, and seeking authenticity in their romantic pursuits. Bumble empowers individuals to date at their own pace, allowing them to showcase their values and causes, such as environmentalism, human rights, and feminism. Discussing safety measures, Ruchi Ruuh, Bumble’s relationship expert, emphasized the app’s commitment to ensuring the comfort and security of its users. It allows users to review profiles and prioritizes authenticity.

Sameer Wadhawan, Head of Human Resources at Samsung India, expressed confidence that the emerging talent engaged in this initiative will develop insightful solutions to address business challenges.

The program will consist of three rounds, with the initial round focusing on ideation. Teams will collaborate and create an executive case summary based on extensive research and analysis.

Following the campus round, 45 select teams will advance to the regional round, where they will dive into the case study, presenting comprehensive solutions.

After the conclusion of the regional round, the top 10 teams will receive mentorship from Samsung leaders for their respective solutions. These final 10 teams will then compete in a National Round, with the top three teams declared as winners.

Those contracting influenza are experiencing prolonged recovery periods, and the mortality rate is higher, ranging from 6 to 25 percent among high-risk populations, particularly children under the age of five and adults over 60, according to Dr. Madhala.

Medical Professionals follow the World Health Organization’s recommendations, releasing batches of flu vaccines twice a year, typically in October or November and April or May, tailored to the prevailing strains. Dr. Sivaranjani Santosh, a senior consultant pediatrician, underscored that children are particularly vulnerable and at high risk of developing chronic conditions such as asthma or immunodeficiency due to influenza.
