Telangana IT Minister K Taraka Rama Rao took part in the 51st Skoch Summit held in Delhi. Speaking on the occasion, KTR explained about the various reforms brought in Telangana, and how they aided towards the development of the state, and bettering the lifestyle of the people. Along with it, he also made some interesting comments about the nation’s development.

‘There is a need for many reforms in the nation. Though the nation is marching ahead on one side, there are some issues that are pulling it back from the other side. We need to work together at political, cultural and administrative levels to solve the problems of the nation,’ said KTR.

Talking about the Industrial policy of the state (Telangana), KTR said that, ‘Telangana stands first in the country in development. We have overcome the issue of power, thanks to the efforts undertaken by CM KCR. We have been receiving an excellent response on DoubleBedroom Housing project, Irrigation projects, and Domestic drinking water schemes’.

The conference saw many eminent personalities from various sectors and politicians from different states.

TFPC cancels film shootings from March 16th

South Indian Film Producer Council India called for a complete lockout of movie theatres from March 2nd in South India. Except in the Telugu states, the lockout is continuing in Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Kerala. Adding to this, the Tamil Film Producer Council (TFPC) stated that, all the shootings and post-production works should be boycotted from March 16th onwards. Along with this, no new films will also be released.

For a very long time, Producers’ Councils across various film industries have been fighting for eliminating the Virtual Print fees, which the Digital Service Providers charge from the theatre owners and producers.

The TFPC also called for a reduction in online ticket booking service charge, computerized ticketing in all theatres, allotting considerable theatres for small films, and keeping a constant check on the ticketing prices.

Though representatives of Digital Service Providers and the Producers’ Council met a couple of times in the last few days, they failed to strike a common balance. It will be interesting to see, how far will this go, especially keeping in mind about Rajinikanth’s Kaala release, and other Tamil movies.

Sindhu Menon Named First Accused In Bank Cheating Case

If you had seen movie ‘Chandamama’ directed by Krishna Vamsi, you are should be better knowing about the two female leads. While one is Kajal Agarwal, one of the star heroines currently, the other actress is Sindhu Menon, who left the film industry. With the Nirav Modi case coming to light, the bank officials are carefully examining the list of other defaulters who have taken loans with forged documents.

During one such examination, it was found out that, Chandamama movie heroine, Sindhu Menon has taken a loan of Rs 30 lakhs from Bank of Baroda. The loan was reportedly secured with forged documents from the bank’s branch in Bangalore.

In this context, the police arrested Sindhu Menon’s brother, and another lady (identified as Nagasri). Sindhu Menon’s name is mentioned as the 3rd accused in the FIR. A notice of the same has been sent to the former heroine, who is currently living in London.

After marrying an IT professional Domini Prabhu, Sindhu Menon left the film industry and settled in London.

Likewise, the resignations shall not affect the bond of TDP and BJP.

Also, Diwakar known for his frank reports declared that CBN cannot win over Modi at any point in time. According to JC, Modi will have a high majority even if the TDP Government passes No Confidence Motion in the Parliament. Its a big waste of time talking about the fight with the Centre as AP cannot control Centre at any cost. Diwakar also poured water on AP people by claiming that BJP will not give Status and he knew it years before.

His comparison has not gone well with some TDP leaders. However, they ignored JC for his foul mouth as it became very common. But the ardent followers of Pawan are not taking these comments for the grant. They ask JC the need to bring their Chief Pawan and his ex into the scene. After completing two years of KCRs ruling, Prof Kodandaram who played one of the crucial roles in achieving Telangana was ignored hugely. In the later days, he became an enemy for KCR camp for not honoring him and developing the state. To fight against KCR, Kodandaram joined forces with the left parties to form a haters group of TRS along with his JAC. His main idea is to expose the negatives of TRS Government and to pull down KCR from the CM seat. In the last year, he planned a special rally against the Government but KCR shattered it using his power and Police. After all these days, Kodandaram again gave a call in the name of Million March at Tank Bund opposing T-Government. His luck has gone from bad to worse as Police already imposed a ban on his rally. More than 5000 Policemen were deployed into the city along with paramilitary forces. Also, they have house arrested Kodandaram in his own house in Tarnaka in order to stop the Rally.

Fumed Kodandaram has slammed KCR for being a dictator. He warned KCR for killing the rights of a common man with Power. Kodandaram reminded the power of Million March in 2010 during Telangana movement. Likewise, now also he swore to conduct this rally defying Police and lives.

In his latest comments, he asked the Election Commission to cancel the identification of Telugu Desam Party (TDP) and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Speaking at the media gathering, Raghuveera Reddy said, ‘TDP and BJP have failed miserably in granting the Special Category Status and fulfilling the commitments in the AP Reorganization Act 2014.

These parties thrashed the hopes of 5 crore Telugu people. During the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh, the BJP demanded an AP Special Category Status for 15 years, against the 5-year period mentioned by the Congress.

Then why did BJP go back on its own word now? I have submitted video records of the promises made by TDP and BJP leaders to the Election Commission. I requested the EC to cancel the identification of both these parties under 16(A) of Indian Constitution’.

MP KVP Ramachandra Rao also took the opportunity to criticize Modi, BJP, and TDP. ‘If PM Modi had any moral values left in him, he should immediately grant Special Category Status to Andhra Pradesh. One cannot guess when TDP and BJP will form an alliance, and break their alliance,’ said Ramachandra Rao.

Gangadharam Joins Pawan Kalyan’s Janasena Party

The Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) Vice-President dumped Congress party and joined Pawan Kalyan’s Janasena today. Madasu Gangadharam, who is currently working as deputy to APCC President Raghuveera Reddy joined the Janasena party.

In an official note released by Hari Prasad, Media Head of Janasena Party, it is stated that ‘Shri Pawan Kalyan garu is having 30 years of long association with Shri Madasu Gangadharam. Pawan Kalyan has invited Madasu Gangadharam into the party.

Gangadharam has served the society for a very long time. He even worked as MLC two times in the past. Pawan Kalyan garu has also stated that Gangadharam’s experience, suggestions, and advice are really important for Janasena party. We have been requesting him for the past few days to join our party.

He joined our party today. Madasu Gangadharam is currently the APCC Vice-President. He resigned to the Indian National Congress party today.’It looks like Pawan Kalyan is turning out to be a true politician, and the latest incident is a clear eye opener to other parties.

Harish Rao reacts on Party Change Issue

Rumours surfaced that TRS key leader and Telangana Irrigation Minister Harish Rao is changing the party. In the last couple of days, social media has been heavily promoting that, Harish Rao will soon leave TRS and is likely to join the Congress party.

Reacting on this, Minister Harish Rao addressed a special press meet. ‘We will definitely take legal action on those who are spreading this kind of false news and rumours. I have already requested DGP to look into this matter seriously.

My birth and death will be in TRS (Telangana Rashtra Samithi) only. I came from families that have fought for Telangana. I am a disciplined member of the TRS party, and will walk in the footsteps of CM KCR,’ said Harish Rao.

Talking about the upcoming Assembly Budget sessions, Harish Rao said, ‘we will conduct the Budget sessions to our best. If there is any kind of opposition towards us, the people of the state will surely let us know. People of Telangana are not in a state to believe false allegations and fake promises by Congress leaders.

During the Congress rule, the state was suffering from lack of electricity. Once TRS came to power, we are able to give 24-hour uninterrupted power supply’.
