Rs 8 crores paid for Bellamkonda Srinivas film Hindi rights!

In recent times, along with overseas rights, and digital rights, Hindi dubbing rights for Telugu film are turning out be a major chunk in terms of pre-release business. Recently, Allu Arjun’s ‘Na Peru Surya’ fetched Rs 12 crores for its dubbing rights. Sadly, upon the film’s first impact (teaser) release, another company came up with 18 crores offer. Such is the rising demand for Hindi dubbing rights.
Adding to this, Bellamkonda Srinivas who had a decent launch with ‘Alludu Seenu’, the producer’s son has seen two flops in with ‘Speedunnodu’ and ‘Jaya Janaki Nayaka’. Bellamkonda Srinivas is currently shooting for his upcoming flick Saakshyam under Sriwass direction.
The film’s impressive motion teaser sent signals that the film is likely to belong to the sci-fi genre. According to the latest reports, the Hindi dubbing rights for the film has fetched a staggering amount of Rs 8 Crores into the producers’ basket. His previous film, Boyapati Srinu’s directorial ‘Jaya Janaki Nayaka’ fetched Rs 7.5 crores.
Despite two back-to-back failures, it is surprising to see such a fancy deal for the young upcoming hero.
