Samsung has reportedly begun the rollout of the latest software update for the Galaxy A51 in some countries that makes camera enhancements. To revive, the Galaxy A51 went sanctioned late last year and was originated in India back in January. The changelog of the new software update introduces camera steadiness improvement. Additionally, the update also delivers the December Android security update to the Galaxy A51 in the European countries where it has been released. However, the firmware does not specify the arrival of any new features.
As per a report from SamMobile, the latest software update carries the build number A515FXXU1ASL6. It is said to be currently available for Galaxy A51 users in France, Germany, Italy, Luxembourg, Poland, Slovenia, Spain, UK, and a few other European countries. There is no word from Samsung when the rollout will begin in other markets where the Galaxy A51 has been launched. In case you haven’t received the OTA notification yet, you can manually check for its availability in the software update section of the Settings app. The update is 223.98MB in size and is now being rolled out via the stable OTA channel.
It seems that the firmware is simply being pushed out in countries where the phone operated an older security update out of the box. In the case of businesses like India, where the phone was launched in January, the Galaxy A51 previously had the December Android patch operating and is now in line to get the January security patch. As specified above, the firmware only draws camera steadiness improvement but doesn’t designate whether it is about the entire app in common, or its video and image stabilization capabilities.
