Heroine Anushka created a unique imprint for herself in the history of Telugu cinema. The Mangalore beauty who settled in the Tollywood film industry has the same fan following like many other star heroes. Let be her role as Arundhati, in which she kills antagonist ‘Pasupathi’, or ‘Devasena’ who is the beautiful queen of the Mahishmati Kingdom in Baahubali, Anushka has her name written all over it.

The actress is waiting for the release of her upcoming film ‘Bhagamathi’. The film is directed by ‘Pilla Zamindar’ fame G. Ashok. ‘Bhagamathi’ is being bankrolled by two production houses; UV Creations and Studio Green. The film has been produced on a staggering budget of Rs 35 crores without compromising on the content and quality of the film.

The latest buzz in the industry is that a Tamil producer/distributor has purchased the Tamil dubbing rights of the film for a staggering amount of Rs 15 crores. ‘The Tamil producer was very happy looking at the quality and content of the film. The high investment of the producers finally paid off,’ said a close source to the production unit.

Trade analysts are expecting that; it wouldn’t come as a surprise if ‘Bhagamathi’ crosses the 100-crore club.
