Telangana Gets Medical College Sanctioned For Siddipet

The Medical Council of India has finally passed the orders for the establishment of a new medical college in Siddipet, Telangana. The latest move comes as a good news for the medical students in Telangana. The Siddipet Medical College is granted 150 seats. Lakshmi Reddy, Minister for Healthy, Telangana Government has thanked CM KCR and the MCI in this context.
The MCI also renewed 150 seats for the 3rd batch in Mahbubnagar, and 100 seats in the Nizamabad Medical College. The MCI has recommended the new 150-seat Siddipet Medical College to be located in the Warangal Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences, to the Central Government under Section 10A Indian Medical Council Act 1956.
It is just a formality for the Centre to grant the permission for the Siddipet Medical College. At a time when the demand for doctors is surging high, the latest development is definitely a much welcome news, both for the society, and the medical students.
